Really annoying that Chelski score again with a shot that wouldn't have gone in if it was a millimetre in either direction. Yes it's well placed but every striker tries to do the same thing and mostly they don't. Their first goal in the last game was the same. There's always a bit of luck as to whether a ball goes in or not. We also got a split second of the screenshot they used to check for offside and it didn't look much different to me from other screens they've showed to prove a goal was offside - a split second either way and you get a different result. And that split second is based on the subjective view of when the ball was played. It's not scientific it's bollocks.

 

Is Tyson Fury fighting Deontay Wilder later? Anyone? Haven't seen it mentioned...

The wingers can’t play their natural game of having the option of a final pass. They getting their head down and running from halfway because they have no outlet

Alli covered more ground against Leipzig than anyone, despite getting subbed off fairly early.
Hardly surprising to see him left out today.

 

We seem lethargic - perhaps not to be unexpected given our schedule - but actually not awful. We’re a long way from being out of this game, though we painfully lack a striker. Steve has had one or two nice touches to link play but he lacks the physicality to play as a CF. If Chelsea tire in the second half we can take something here.

 

The system doesn't suit anyone. He should switch to a 4-3-3, win the midfield and protect the defence.

Definitely for me. About 9 or 10 goals he’s been either at fault for or should’ve prevented. Worst regular this season for me. Can’t believe we gave him a new deal, especially on the money he’s now on. Mugged ourselves right off.
