You're right about Azp's leg though. Who gives a fck anyway, he has another one.

    Like Batshuayi's nuts, apparently:

His personality means that it's not a red card, of course.

    Batshuayi overreacted.

Player personality is important. Think of Klinsman.

Well what is Azp doing there anyway? The trouble with watching that VAR replay is that it's about one second of action looped round at slow speed. That makes it look much worse. That little snippet (which would be showed to the ref if he looked at the pitch monitor, so I wonder what the point would be) shows a situation completely out of context. In that section, it's like Azp has teleported in and GLC brings down the foot. We know that! The context is where has Azp come from and can GLC see him coming. In fact Azp is somewhat out of control and he's coming in horizontally - normally a sign that he is about to commit the serious foul. If GLC hadn't lifted up his let, Azp would probably have connected with his ankle. Also, I've seen stamps before and the person doing the stamping doesn't immediately reach down to the guy on the ground as if he's surprised he's there.

    All I'm saying is
    (1) it's not nearly as clear cut as everyone would have you believe and
    (2) if you're only going to review 1 second of VAR, then anyone coming down on someone will seem to have stamped on them. Because even if you don't think this happened yesterday, there will be a situation when a defender steams in horizontally for a potentially damaging tackle, the attacker sees him coming and jumps up out of the way, accidentally coming back down on the defender. Show the VAR and it will look like the attacker in the wrong.

I don't get what Azp is doing there either. On the pitch while a game is going on ffs. I'm with you bro! I didn't see the bit before he arrived so cannot comment on the horizontal trajectory? Was he fist first ala Superman or feet first ala Big Daddy?

Either way, as I said before, watch the slowmo, he sees Lo Celso's foot coming down and deliberately slips his leg under. You got to hand it to Azp in one sense, he knew he was going to get spiked when he threw himself under the preverbial bus.

Well said Vim. The masses go with what the mob and media (same thing) says. The fact they all think this is a red card is exactly why we should never let them near the decision making process. One person making a decision will get things wrong adding more people improves nothing just wastes time. The referee made the right decision in the first place if anyone needs carding it.s, Azilpuwhtashis face for intent to remove Lo Selso's feet from the ground.

It's not one person bruv, it's a conspiracy. From the refs to the pundits to the media. Who decides on these decision? Have we got cameras watching them? How many phones in there? Are they allowed contact with the outside world? Who checks.

We're not getting any enough VAR decisions tbf. I wish Eddy would open up the wallet a bit more yanaw

Anyway saltypoolTM are now getting all the dodgy decisions. Protected by the forces of darkness, there is a clandestine organisation of ex-players, referees and the FA protecting them from up on high.

We're talking about a red card to one of our players that didn't happen in a game that we lost.
What possible excuse could that be? Stop talking bollocks.

Celso should be banned for 3 games if the ref and var did their job properly. im sick of seeing spurs players trying to break legs and get away with it tbh.

How do you explain this non decision in spurs favour if all the refs and var and media and his mum are conspiring against you? For decades now?

This saga is like the film, 12 Angry Men. It starts with one saying not guilty and eventually the whole jury change their minds. This might take more than a day but if people look at all the evidence they will eventually see sense. Some people however are unable to see anything other than what they are told they are seeing
