Tottenham and England striker Harry Kane, 25, needs to move to a "big club" to prove himself and win trophies, according to former Sweden international Zlatan Ibrahimovic. (Metro)

    Yes.

  2. All those thinking Danny Rose is the answer to our problems needs to seek help <laugh>
If he had kicked on from the Rose of 15/16 season, improving his defensive abilities then we would have had a player. Unfortunately, a combination of **** attitude and injury has left us with 75% of that player.
Davies did nothing wrong per se yesterday but he is limited, particularly when the movement in front of him is stagnant.

Trippier? Well words fail me.... Between him and Aurier, I have had to increase my health insurance and see a heart specialist!
Sorry to say it but we need to invest heavily in this area.

As for Lamela. He's talented - sporadically - but far better in his own mind than in reality.

Depressing state of play at the moment and a minimum of 2 draws is required for next 2 games otherwise I fear a season ending clusterfuck.

    COYS!!

Kane didn't score in one match and you want to drop him? He's the best finisher in the PL right now.

So you think Kane should leave to prove himself and win trophies at a "big" club?

Strange stance for a spurs fan to take...but a sensible stance for a gooner to have.

So dropping our best goalscorer makes us more likely to score now? Why?

It's not rocket science. There are still 5-10 better squads than us in Europe so those teams are more likely to win things. Especially since no other country has more than 3 top 15 clubs. How Kane moving to one of those helps us is beyond me.

Was answering the ars...sorry spurs fan who claimed we were playing really well prior to Kane's return.

Have no idea how you get the idea that I don't want us winning a cup though...I have never said anything like that.

Why do you think we would have scored first?

Chelsea aren't playing that well are they and we scored well without Kane so I think the scoring momentum would have been maintained had Kane not come back.

Because we did without him..............twice. Remember last season when he was injured and how well we scored.

Not helping us win though is he? We've scored one in two since his return.

Should have conceded at least 2 more v Leicester and only scored the 3rd cos they were chasing the game...hey.

Failed to score v Palace ... hey.

Scored 1 v Newcastle due to an appalling goalkeeping error...hey.

Telling us Kane should be sold proves you not to be a spurs fan...something long suspected on here.

Several have wondered if he should have been on the bench instead of starting and that has been an interesting debate but you are just <laugh> <doh> in equal measure...more ridiculous than Trippiers own goal.

Let’s be honest. Both Trippier and Davies are no better than bang average. Rose is only good for the odd meaningful contribution. Toby looks past his best now - making slip ups he wouldn’t have a couple of years ago.

We’ve no replacement for Dembele ( Winks certainly ain’t it! ) Wanayama looks permanently crocked. Dier is starting to live up to his name - when he’s not crocked, and so it’s Sissoko and Winks game after game.

Result. We’re conceding far more goals and more importantly, unnecessary goals, than we were a couple of seasons back.

How we’re in the top four is a mystery. Serious investment is needed to stop us regressing further, imo.

I remember when Newcastle sold MacDonald to Arsenal and everybody thought The Magpies would be relegated, they did better in fact. Now, three top football names have endorsed my fairly old opinion and I'm sticking to my guns. We will do better if we drop Kane NOW.
