  11. Some classics on HYS tonight. This is particularly helpful......

If the spuds actually start winning stuff they'll be unbearable, they'll become the new manure, self entitled arrogant gits. It won't happen though, they are perineal chokers.’

Well, I for one don’t want to be choking on ANYONE’S perineum!! <yikes>

The Lamela and Jan tackles were nasty.
It seems a bit of Nemesis for 2016 though.

  13. And the Beeb failure to show the kick out by Fibreglass........

Mind you, good to see Chris Sutton give Big Dave praise. He was excellent today :emoticon-0148-yes:

    Palace can’t hold a lead/ defend for **** mate.

Austin is back soon isn’t he? Guaranteed to bang a few goals, big fan of his when fit.

Jan was just showing he puts club before country!

Lamela was showing that 2016’s stamp wasn’t an accident <laugh>

Highlight of the game? Lamela stamping on Fibreglass then kneeing him in the head as he got up <laugh>

All jokes aside, Coco had a superb game. His work rate is just astonishing. I hope the rumours that we are looking to move him on in the summer prove to be false. Such an integral part of the squad and probably the closest thing we have to an on-pitch embodiment of the Pochettino philosophy.

nothing about him being straight back in the first team and remaining suggests he is going anywhere.
one of the most under rated and important plaers we have imo

  18. Dear Gareth Southgate,
On behalf of Spurs fans everywhere, Thank you!
By only playing Dele for 20 mins across two pointless international friendlies, you not only rested him, but motivated him for the game against Chelsea.
And in the same moment you proved to us all you're a complete idiot, thinking that the likes of Lingard, Oxlade-Chamberpot or even Rashford are better options for your England team.
    Well done, indeed Gareth :emoticon-0148-yes:
    Kind Regards
    A very happy Spurs fan.

And was it just me, or did anyone else get a strange reassuring feeling when Mousa Sissoko came on near the end......:emoticon-0148-yes:

I knew we'd won when Sissoko came on. I haven't stopped smiling since.
