Oh well the final no one wanted - I think the officials won this weekend, I assume they were well rewarded !
Just got home from my daughters house been sorting the last bits and pieces out for the son in laws funeral on Friday just checked the goons result well that confirms that it's been a **** weekend all round.
Speak for yourself. It's been quite a good one. But I wonder how we'll be feeling this time next week? Some massive games this week.
Really sorry to hear that mate, two things a person hopes never to do is bury their kids or kids spouses, the young should outlive us
Yeh it's been really tough times but we're ok thanks. Luckily I have 3 girls and a son who rally round at times like these but I'm still dreading the funeral. I am gonna be a pallbearer on the day with 5 of his mates that's the least I can do.R.I.P.STEVO
Glad you are ok...you sound like you are all looking after your daughter really well...that'll be a huge help to her ... hope Friday goes well <ok >
Wow whinge fest galore on here. Was at a wedding so havent seen the match just highlights but persistent fouling yellows? Ya they should be dishes out but it sounds like you guys wanted them after the first few. Refs never give them out til like the 4th and I'm surprised you guys think that they should have been in the first half. As for comparisons to the battle at the bridge last year, i cant say how bad our fouls were (presumably annoying niggles ) but you boys were going full suarez decapatation mode last year. Tackles to actually injure people that rooney and scholes would have been proud of and it wasnt just 1, there were about 4 or 5. Lastly onto alderweirelds challenge, the reason why he got a yellow was because pedro was running in on goal and he chopped him down from behind. Even though that was his first challenge that's a yellow all day long. In fact if you look at tobys reaction hes happy he didnt get a red for it. Moses penalty is a hard one. Man dives over sons leg. What i would say is moses gets to the ball if sons doesnt coming sliding in and would probably not get to the ball if he had to leap over sons leg because his running motion has been impeded. Its one of those you would like refs to give not have players cheat over someones leg to win pens. Lastly heard lloris handballed it outside the area but no mentions of that here? If persistent fouling is the biggest contentious issue on here then it probably means the match wasnt that badly reffed.
That is a classic example of having an opinion on something you clearly know nothing about . It's Britain's current big problem
I was talking generally. Re the game. Kante should certainly have been booked for repetitive fouls. Luiz was another candidate. Toby knew what he was doing chopping Pedro. He expected the card, I'm sure.
