#THFC team: Lloris (c), Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose; Dier, Dembele; Lamela, Eriksen, Son; Kane #COYS #THFC subs: Vorm, Davies, Wimmer, Carroll, Chadli, Mason, Clinton #COYS
That's a big statement of trust in playing Son ahead of Chadli or Mason. He'll need to step up some serious gears here as he has been abjectly bad since returning from injury. Excellent to see Njie on the bench - he is the 'something different' that we lacked on the bench against West Brom and indeed on many occasions this season.
Son has done little when coming on as a sub so guess that his energy from the start up front could help set the tone for us...here's hoping COYS
Also very interesting that Eden 'I'm willing to score own goals to help Leicester because I love Chelsea and behaving professionally' Hazard has been dropped to the bench. A statement from Hiddink that sentiment like that won't be tolerated?
Some of Lloris / Vert / Wimmer / N'Jie better score soon. We need to keep the most diversest attackingest side in the PL. <whoscored.com>
Apparently we've won 80% of PL games Son has started this season, and 44% without. Does that speak to all those draws in the first half of the season perhaps? Edit: don't hate me for the jinx boys
As we go into a big game against a somewhat-rival, just remember that it could be worse. Much worse. Dundee United need to win tonight or they'll be relegated by Dundee. **** that ****.
Dembele will be key tonight. Matic and Mikel don't have the distribution to bring their front 4 into the game unless they have time to pick out the pass. Dembele must see to it that they don't get that time.
Sorry guys...you know how much I want to be positive but this ****ty jinx is going to continue into a 27th season
