Decent half, but we should've taken our chances when we were well on top. It'll be a tough second half now and their crowd is well up for it.
Once again we're doing very little down the left. Naughton and Sig is a poor combo that side as neither want to get wide. I'd like to see Lamela on at half time personally.
Clattenberg's becoming my favourite ref this season Generally really good and just missing a goal but a few players have had some poor moments. Townsend really needs to keep his head up when he cuts inside, it's all very well being able to get good chances to shoot but he's wasting the vast majority and there's usually a good pass on if he pays attention. I'd really like to see Lamela in the second half but I'm not sure who we'd take off.
Good management from malky there. They switched to targeting paulinho with quick closing down and it's disrupted us
If they open up then that is ok. I think Townsend to the left and Siggy to the right at HT with Walker over lapping siggy that should work ok Then bring on Lamela later. I would like to see Vlad, but if it stays tight I dont think we will .
