Skipp at left back is risky Son as striker with Kulusevski (who’s been awful for a long time) starting instead of Son on the left and giving Scarlett (actual striker) a go. Fancied a win today but not so sure now. Spurs lose today and it’s on Ange
This delightful lot said the protests made them feel unsafe to visit London on weekends. Have a guess when/where this photo was taken
Burnley have to win, so hopefully they come to play and that is generally better for us, but equally we always concede, so that offers them hope too. Need a quick start score first and I think we can go on and win, but if we are not on it from minute one this has the makings of a long afternoon.
Despite their need to win, they've dropped a mf for a defender so I'm not so sure about their intent! As for us... Surely today would have been a day up be bold and play Dragusin in the middle of a back 3, and push Porro up into the 4. Maddison starts and owes us a performance...but that goes for a fair few of them!
Might have preferred to see Scarlett or another young player given a chance instead of Sonny at 9 and Johnson and Kulu out wide. But ironically this might be a good game for Sonny at striker. Burnley have to play so there’s more likely to be space. Under Kompany they’re less likely to shut up shop and ****house a couple of set pieces for a win, though I’m sure they’ll still try and do the latter, like everyone does.
Look on the bright side....in about 2 hours we will be only one match away from the end of the season!
That was a few weeks ago on a weekend. It was at a protest. Yes, Jewish people (aka "this delightful lot") should not be allowed to protest? I think the sentiment referred to Jewish people in small numbers, not a group in Trafalgar Square. I thought we were keeping politics to the politics thread?
I was just explaining the backstory about Eddie Marsan that the two other posters were talking about. I agree it’s the wrong thread to talk about this.
The duality of man (or r/coys) - Kulu on the left wtf - Kulu on the left and Brennan on the right finally thank god
Kulu on the left a very mixed bag so far. One good ball across to Johnson for that chance but he’s not holding onto the ball very well and has missed chances to put Sonny in behind a few times too.
The midfield looks a bit more comfortable so far and some of the approach play has been good, but none of the front 3 are on their game so far today.
Spurs are so bad defensively. If the system isn’t going to change and the personnel is going to stay the same too, then will a more solid midfield really make that much difference next season?
