RCL. I think we've all had strange upbringings, one way or the other. My sister, who passed on a couple of years ago, asked me on my last visit "Did dad hit you? (my stepdad)". I told her "Yes, he did it most of the time (he was her dad!"). "Well,(she said) he didn't touch me!" Funny thing to say after umpteen years! I was always out as I grew up,so didn't see much of him.Which was lucky for me. He was a chain smoker smoking Boars head one after the other As my sister was home most of the time she developed a shadow on her lung and he got TB.He was in hospital for a year and she for 6 months. She was only 10 at the time. That Christmas I spent it with mum.I can still remember her bringing home a chicken and having to clean it. The following Christmas,as we had little money,my aunt bought me a pair of gabardine trousers.I was in heaven.....until the old man saw me in them and said "Look at him showing off!. talk about deflating one's ego.But he was good at that.Probably why he had no friends.....his only positive that I could see was him being a Spurs supporter......until they lost and he had the hump for two days!!!!!!!
I think he gets the best out of his players. They have to play like that to get results. I think he would do a great job with more skilful players
