Good line up that and plenty of pace . Great to see Toby back in. Sissoko has been ok this season especially in CM. Moura and Son out wide, loads of pace and trickery and Eriksen in a more natural position through the middle.
That's not far off the side i would have picked vs City: Lloris Aurier Sanchez Alderweireld Vertonghen Davies Dembele Moura Eriksen Son Kane Both Son and Moura should have played and with 3 CBs the wing backs could have pushed their wide players back. There was so much empty space down the flanks begging to be exploited.
I’ve been saying the same mate, you’re not the only one! Although I do wonder if this is purely to keep the squad fresh, and not a sign that Toby is back in poch’s plans permanently.

I think they might be looking to put him in the shop window. Mate, you may have needed to be listed in the personals in Exchange & Mart, Toby Alderweireld is one of the best centre halves in the world. If he leaves, he doesn't need to be advertised anywhere for him to become one of the most expensive defenders in the world. Where do the BBC find these people?
Excited to see Son and Moura in action. I feel their combination of pace, guile and willing to try the audacious is the only way we'll keep teams like City pinned back in future meetings. I personally would've rested Eriksen as he's carried the team in the past few games but other than that a very sensible line-up. I hope Wanyama puts in a good display, really don't want Dier to start at the weekend.
my uni kid has neighbours who have a tortoise...can't think why my thinking about how we start matches reminded me of this fact!
