Werner’s barely in the game and doing next to nothing when he is involved. richarlison getting no service, and will need 5 opportunities to convert 1. need to get them both off by 55-60mins and try something else. We’re no threat up top whatsoever.

Said the exact same. Flopped for two years at Chelsea. Been used for only bout 300 minutes at Leipzig this season. I mean how many more red flags does a player need until you avoid them? And as I type he’s given it away AGAIN!
As much as hoddle is a pain in the arse to listen to, he’s right. We need width to stretch the CB’s. Richarlison’s gonna continue to be anonymous otherwise.

The Richarlison signing was odd but it seems likes the club were determined to top that by signing Werner too.
Started ok, but after the first 5 minutes it's been dreadful. Bad decisions all over park. And no matter how bad Werner has been, Kulusevski has been even worse.
We are too slow attacking. Our one bit off speed led to Kuluchevski messing up a very good chance. We have allowed them to get in our heads and has much as I dislike blaming refs he has been inept. Their number 6 committed 3 fouls in the first 4 mins and nothing was done. They've been allowed to block free kicks, knock the ball away, time waste and committ at least 2 off the ball fouls (which the ref awarded to us) but escaped bookings for all of them. Disappointed with us though...very lethargic so far and their keeper hasn't been tested
Aside from the individual mistakes the most disappointing thing has been our reaction to going down. We’ve had enough games this season where we’ve kept our heads, plugged away and came away with all 3 points but instead we’ve lost our heads and played right into their hands, Maupay in particular. Ange needs to straighten this lot out at half time. Imagine the first sub if we don’t get a foothold in the game soon will be Johnson for Skipp with Kulu moving into midfield.
I know everyone is frustrated, as I am. But think there is a bit of over reaction on here. The defence have made uncharacteristic mistakes. And this is Maddison’s and bentancurs first game playing together so it’s to be expected they are not clicking as we all hoped. Plus we are missing our best player up front. Keep the faith, time for Ange to earn his money.
