I hate that. Ball goes out for a throw and both sides move in a way that indicates that the same side has won it. Ref gives it the other way.
3-0 FT. Brilliant first half display, then a bit of a stroll through the second, really. No cards, no apparent injuries and a nice little boost to the goal difference, though it could've been more. Bournemouth have been playing well recently and we made them look very poor. Very good performance.
Can't complain about that game at all Wimmer being injured would have been a problem as it might have messed up our midfield (Dier moving back to CB and Bentaleb unable to play in his place as I believe he's crocked for the season now) or our defence with CCV apparently injured too and no other CBs until Verts comes back. But he appears fine. I'm surprised Kane got 90 too but then again he hardly played against Dortmund. Altogether, couldn't really ask for more than that today. Big games coming up now though, just have to weather the international break first.
He is a great player but Alli also seems to be a bit of a nasty piece of work. Hopefully he doesn't get a reputation for it or he'll be a target for refs. Does seem to leave his leg in or have a bit of a dig after the ball has gone.
He seems to do it to get back at players that have either taken him out off the ball or left their foot in on him. The Artur one today was definitely that and I've noticed it quite a bit in other games. It's silly and naive, as he's going to be targeted by this sort of **** all of the time now. Pochettino needs to have a word with him about it and ask him to tone it down.
