Rose ain't getting back in the team if Davies keeps up this form. Besides, we still don't even know what the deal with Rose is at the moment. Regardless of whether or not he apologised profusely for his comments, we all know Poch doesn't like bad eggs, he's tended to have a 1 strike rule in the past so if that also applies to Rose, then chances are we may not see much of him even when he is fit.
Great game Spurs. You did us proud. They say We are fighting for the second spot in this group.Hell,we may be fighting for the top spot!
It must have been a good night as I can't think of one single thing to have a whinge about. Two good teams, four good goals made for terrific entertainment. Respect to the German fans who were simply brilliant in their support and respect to their players for the first half display of how to keep the ball. In the second half we were just awesome. I'm still buzzing from what was a great win and performance. Even Pochettino looked less scruffy than usual .
I think you no longer have a place here as a Spurs supporter. Where do you want a transfer to in January : Stoke, Swansea or WBA ??
BD were so impressive in that first half. Not only the amount of possession, but the speed at which they closed us down and then moved the ball around. Thank **** they slowed down!!
The turmoil in t'Interweb land has been a joy to behold, just with BBC HYS as a sample. Apparently Spurs played a "long-ball" game, and continuing like that does not deserve progression in the CL. Funny that, because I thought we played akin to the most attackingest team ... in the world. Ever. And I recall any Spurs supporter who called that "long-ball" was denounced as being bitter.
What feckin' game were they watching??? Also, started to look at the comments on the BBC website about Harry and the Ballon D'or, then stopped as I was worried about my blood pressure.
I can't imagine what would lead Phil Neville to conclude that playing for a big club (even as, say, a work-a-day utility player who just about makes enough appearances to get medals) was more important than sheer talent when it comes to assessing players. I wonder if Matt leTissier was better than Phil Neville. Better check to see who he played for. This is easy!
Nuri Sahin on Harry Kane: "He's a world-class striker and he showed that again here. "I thought his movement before his second goal, where he moved in before then dropping deeper, is the difference between world-class and class. He does that well. "He's a nice guy as well. You see how down to earth he is and that he works hard. I like him." Good to hear that from a losing opponent, especially when his side put in such a good performance.
Dortmund had no less than 7 top men out last night and they will be back when we face them again so our win last night wasn't against the top Dortmund team.
Is this true, I heard they had 7 players out but didn't know if they were first team or squad players.
