Well having been mildly impressed with the first 38 minutes of this game, it seems like today would be a good day to work on the ol' goal difference.
That's exactly the point that I was going to make! We need to be wary of finishing on the same number of points as all our three main rivals, so need to knock in a few.
For all our dominance, it's still only 1-0 against a team who've given us a ridiculous amount of space. Kean will alter Blackburn at HT and we won't get the same amount in the 2nd half.
How many times have we seen this? Spurs dominate and come away with a draw? I just hope we can keep this going in the second half, and not them let in the game.
Kean has got it wrong so far but they've shown in recent weeks they've got good front players in Hoilett and the Yak - if he changes their setup, our defensive cracks might rear their ugly heads again in the second half. We should be out of sight, but for some reason the players like to keep it interesting.
Sandro looks back to his best - even with the 'throw -up!! Bale is pi**ing me off - too bloody full of himself - needs to get back to what he does best and not playing the Diva. Ade and VDV have both worked hard and we are creating some opportunities at least. Rose has done ok - but has wasted a heap of good positions - and he is under no pressure whatsoever at FB. Lennon is ...... Lennon - sparkling and frustrating in equal measure.
On BBC - There's some shirt swapping going on. At half-time. Emmanuel Adebayor and Gael Givet have exchanged jerseys. Very odd. wtf? It's not school football where the teams swap a player to even things up!
Much better from Spurs they look fresh and up for it. They must have been reading our critics all week. More please, and stop hitting the bloody posts, that is more difficult than the bigger space in between.
Forgot to say that Modders looks a lot more positive and 'involved' - seems like this system is suiting him! Fancy that........
