That wasn't good for my ticker either Very spursy we never do anything easy (apart from chelski )do we.
From Alasdair Gold of football.london... "On the morning of the match I'd visited Pochettino's old stomping ground across town, Espanyol's RCDE Stadium, where the Argentine had taken the first steps in his managerial career, saving the struggling club from relegation and keeping them afloat for the next few seasons. There were no official tours scheduled but one old boy kindly let me inside for a couple of moments to take some photos of the ground, looking carefully around every couple of moments to check he wouldn't get in trouble with his boss. As I thanked him and moved to walk past, the elderly Catalan gentleman touched my arm and said: "Tell Maurico when you see him later that he is the king. I came here every Sunday for years to watch his team and he means so much to us. He is the king of Barcelona."
A nice piece on Kyle Walker-Peters; CL debut... https://www.independent.co.uk/sport...sult-goals-champions-league-ucl-a8678836.html
Today I've done something more relaxing than last night's side-by-side nervous breakdowns I've been playing Alien Isolation on its hardest setting
As with Foyth at Wolves the other week, twas unpleasant for KWP but did not cost Spurs the end result. And similarly we want KWP to subsequently move on and front up while his squad senior peers recover from injury.
I thought stewards were there to help away fans but as usual they take the chance to be permitted football hooligans..doesn't surprise me I've seen this treatment for years following spurs and wycombe
I expect this is just that sort of story that a sporting news station like TalkSport will be really keen to pursue. Oh, hang on a minute... they won't have any time as waste-of-oxygen Durham will be too busy wumming us.
It's the point I was trying to make the other day, MP does not miss a detail, with Foyth in a similar situation. This is how MP gets what he does from players, unlike many managers he considers his actions from their point of view and the team's point of view. The big ego which is the driving force for many managers is not used by MP. I have huge respect for him.
Has anyone pointed out to them that they needed to win in order to go through, yet a draw was all we needed? I mean if they're going to act as if they finished in the top two spaces of their group...
WTF is the matter with me. Am almost welling up at the end of that. Anyone know where you can get extra testosterone.
