Xavi’s shown a few glimpses of quality since joining but largely been so unimpressive so far. I was sceptical over his signing in the first place and he’s not done much to dispel my concerns. So many Bundesliga attacking mids/ wingers have struggled badly in the Prem over the last 10 or so years.

We desperately miss Maddison in that 10 spot.

 

Like Tel he works hard but nothing more than that right now. We miss Kulu and Madders so much

 

finally back in the world of the living after being down with covid and an infection...first time out in 10 days...and I have just caught up with the game ... and see Richarlison is on to save us ... ffs... going back to bed

I would if I were you. I have a really bad feeling about this game. But then I do most times I watch us!

 

I’d get Sarr, Bergvall and Kolo on for Bentancur, Xavi and Odobert.

Poor closing down for both of them to be fair. Should have done more to prevent either player being able to shoot for their goals.

Frank has to shoulder the blame on this. Selection was wrong and he’s left it too late to rectify it.

Tel and Odobert are championship players at present, nowhere near good enough to be starting for a side with top 4/6 aspirations.
