One of the most one sided halfs in ages and somehow we go in infront.

Lloris is having a blinder so far, only one that’s turned up today because the other ten haven’t.

Got the early goal, then got clogged out of the game and disappeared.

Reguilon is probably off to Madrid in the summer so I think Conte is planning for life without him already.

 

I am not going to critisize Spurs for that. The the ref needs to control the game.

 

Blimey were lucky to be going in 1-0 up. Hugo has kept us in it.
Villa have just pressed us all over and we've been poor . Can Villa keep up this intensity though but one things for certain we MUST improve 2nd half. Need more from Kane and Kulusevski.
Conte needs to get amongst them at HT or we ain't gonna win this.

 

As in not criticise them for that display? You should do as we have been so poor.

Really wish we had Skipp fit right about now, I’d look at getting Kulusevski off (probably his quietest game so far) and load up in the middle with the hope we can regain some control of the ball then nick something on a counter via Son’s speed.

Really has been a shambles so far though, poorest we’ve looked since that awful Boro game.

Gerrard seems to be spending most of his time on the training ground teaching the Villa players to roll around and complain to the ref. Needs to get a grip.

We look dangerous when we hold possession and get forward. Just need to switch on a bit and cut out mistakes in midfield in the second half.

They know a lot of our threat is from ouur wing backs so they crocked Doherty then tried the same Regi as soon as he came on
