I have yet to see an interesting game at the Monaco stadium. They all play as though they are going to fall off the pitch.

Vertonghen at LB against Dortmund remains one of the greatest performances in that position ever seen.

    Hopefully Micky can emulate that.

    Hamstring injury incoming.

Surely VdV is not at LB with Gary at CB?

I reckon Palhinha is playing CB and Archie is at CM.

Gray could equally be LB, played there a few times last season. Makes more sense to have just one player out of position than two, keep van de Ven alongside Danso and Palhinha at DM, he’s far too good there to play him elsewhere.

Two keepers on the bench and three teenagers.

It's not even November and we're already down to the bare bones :emoticon-0101-sadsm

We've got an unbalanced squad. Too many (average) wide attackers and not nearly enough cover in defence.

Two of the teenagers also played virtually the entire U19 game earlier, too.
Olusesi finished the match and Williams-Barnett got taken off in the 91st minute.

We do actually have plenty of defenders in the squad, though.
Romero, Dragusin, Udogie, Davies and Takai are all injured.
Should've picked up Walker-Peters on a free, of course.

Poor surface, weird stands, running track, big pillars... awful.

    Balogun looked offside there.

Fati looked absolutely miles offside and then blatantly dived.

This is worrying.... Best player is Archie Gray, but the rest is shambolic.

Decent work by Odobert. Van de Ven should probably do better.

Odobert with a couple of good moments, but there is so little coordination. Richy is either too static or dropping too deep, Bergvall is actually more active in the front line.
The gaps they are finding through the MF is frightening though.

Richarlison has to pull the trigger early there. Wanted the extra touch and let them get back.

Good by Odobert but Richarlison has to do better...

Great run by Odobert, but Richarlison to slow with his shot.
