Unfortunately he has done very little to hold down a spot in the starting line-up, even with injuries piling up all around him.

He is the definition of a fairweather player. Looks great when the rest of the team are playing well, but struggles to turn the tide of games that are going against us (quite a lot this past year) and as soon as he gets clattered a few times (inevitable as he is an easy target), he seems to lose interest.

Disappointing signing who I'd look to sell in the summer as things stand.

Can't remember the last time this was a mid week fixture to be fair. Very strange.

I might be wrong, but I think this will be closer than a lot think.

There you go, kiss of death..

He has a good record against us, seem to recall a few goals against us in City colours for sure

    Hate lunch time KOs, tbh.

3pm or especially weekend evening ones are prime time for a derby in my opinion. Get on the beers all day, go to the game, win (hopefully), back to the local til they shut then onto London for casino to lose all your money but you don’t care because Tottenham won.

Yeah he’s lacking a lot of what is needed for an Ange midfielder. I’ve never been convinced of him and there was always a reason that nobody else wanted him.

Last time it was midweek was the season they bottled the game in January, it was at our place we won 3 - 0 Holding was sent off, Kane scored 2 and Sonny got the other. No chance of a repeat tonight

Probably the last time we beat them?

Same mate, I just want it done and over with. Take the piss taking off the Arsenal fans in the office tomorrow and move on.
Worryingly we will be in a relegation scrap the way things are going.

A lot of fans think a decent run of form is imminent, I don’t see an upturn in form coming anytime soon unfortunately. The cup games are massively papering over the huge cracks from the league campaign. A big defeat tonight could do real damage to Ange and his job security.

If Arsenal score early then it will be a long long night. Not sure I’ll be able to put myself through it tbh. Our record is so bad there and I just can’t see us getting anything. I hope this ultra negativity will have the RCL effect but I very much doubt it!
If we do suffer a heavy defeat we are in trouble. And I worry that Ange isn’t the man to get us through a relegation dogfight.

I actually love this game. It’s probably the masochist in me but games like this are what makes football. Losing them is a killer but the ecstasy of winning is only bettered by a trophy.

I’ve just found this particular one weird in that the “hype” around it just feels like any other game, as if we were facing Leicester or something.

I doubt it. Levy will ride this opportunity until the wheels drop off. We’re still in all of the cups. A Europa League trophy win would undo any damage poor league form would do.

I don’t believe another manager could dig Levy out of the Ange shaped hole. Levy knows this. It’s time to back this guy all the way.

A europa league trophy win is so unlikely. If that’s what they’re banking on then they’re in for some disappointment. More likely and reasonable is that Spurs won’t be in Europe next season.
