Disagree...other than city, EVERY team is inconsistent so far this season.

Was like watching Spurs in and around the year 2000

****ing awful..we weren't at the races from minute 1

God can't believe we made Arsenal look half decent. They weren't even all that...we just didn't turn up mentally in order to play the game.

I seem to get the feeling that we are just interested in a CL run this season and semi accepted our fate in the league

Kane is not fit...Dave had a poor game I thought

ffs. We are top of a champions league group containing Los Ladrones and Dortmund . We are third/ fourth in the PL and were short of several starters. We are not suddenly rubbish. I wish Lamela had been fit enough for this game though as he would definitely have given the players a kick up arse during the game

Called it a while back...he annoys me.

I saw no fires up anyone's arse today...we were ****. Eriksen returned to the little fanny we all know he can be. That was a frustrating watch.

I agree. And the FA cup, I hope.
It doesn’t help that city have started so much better than everyone else, either. You can bet that players at other clubs are looking at the table at that 8 point gap already. Even 12 games in, its looking like a massive challenge for anyone else to compete with them. Another 5 games from them in the same manner, with the squad depth they have, and any additions they make in January, and you have to ask who else is going to catch them. I got castrated a few weeks ago for saying they will walk the league, but I just don’t see anyone having enough over the course of 38 games to realistically compete with them.

I agree with that but I expect more bite from the team in a game like this. They didn't seem quite hungry enough today...we lost 2 nil but I still think Arsenal were ****...just shows how poor we were and the question 'why?' is a valid one.

Difficult to critcise Kane, unfit and any other match he would have been on the bench max. He was so knackered he didnt appeal for a stonewall penalty. Both pundits here, Ian Wright and Andy Townsend agreed it was a clear penalty. The linesman should have given it, he had a clear view. The officials were poor.

Eriksen and Alli went missing, Sonny and Winks looked bright but should have come on earlier. Dembele is knackered, like a thoroughbred racehouse that needs putting down. Bench material at best. Dier needs to learn to play to the whistle. Having said all of that, Mustaffi was the difference. He stood out for them. Lacazette does a good Darren Bent immitation and Cech is also still top notch.

I'd personally say Dier is irreplaceable. Very few players can operate in numerous positions and generally put in 7/10 performances on a regular basis. Sure, he was pony today, as was everyone barring Sissoko (who I thought was the only one to show ambition and drive) but I truly believe Dier is such a valuable asset.

Dele frustrates me the most out of our key players. When he's up for it he's incredible but too many times of late he's been a passenger and that pisses me off.

Sissoko was the one who found himself on the ball alot...he managed to tank his way past a few players but then it came to the pivotal moment and the ball seemed to just trickle away from him. He's been great lately but he seems limited to **** at the same time.

Not harsh mate. Dier was bollocks today so any criticism on that performance is more than warranted.

I'm just personally in that boat of where I think versatility is a massive asset and Dier's ability to play CB, RB, DM and CM usually at a good standard is something that I feel makes him one of our key players. I mean I ****ing changed my username to the bloke, too <laugh>

He's been better when playing deeper. He's more involved and harder to keep out of the game. Against Liverpool he was great. I thought that we'd play the same line-up today with Son supporting HK. Its not like Arsenal are a massive physical presence in the centre of the pitch.

Mostly, today indicates that we miss Winks when he's out and the team without Aurier, Rose and Son has zero pace.

Yeah his final ball is ****, although did knock a good cross-in in the first half that Kane could've perhaps done better from.

I can live with players giving 100% though and today I think Sissoko was the only one who really tried to graft for us, even if there was no end product.

Dortmund haven't won in their last 5 matches or so and I will say it again, we were LUCKY against Real Madrid, CRAP against Palace and CRAP today. No, not rubbish overnight but rubbish since beating Liverpool. LOST against West Ham AT HOME, yes, RUBBISH and lucky.

  19. Seldom disagree with you, mate but will here.
Arsenal out-performed themselves. They were at it from minute 1 and always looked sharper and more cohesive. We didn’t help by any means, but credit where it’s due.
