He also gave the free-kick against QPR last season, when Sandro fell over and landed on it, as just one example off the top of my head. He's bloody awful.

yeah I remembered once I realised I was thinking of a different ref.

but this season, it's so far so good with TwatBurg.

As we are the main rivals to Chelsea, he may want to assist us <whistle>

Webb and Twatkinson are the two I fear the most. They both make up the rules as they go along and have history of screwing us over.

Clattenburg is just a bit ****. He's been trying to keep a low profile since being accused of racism so hopefully he'll shy away from any controversial decisions on Sunday.

At least we haven't gotta worry about Ade getting sent off then!

We should also remember that the game is at home. He's not going to be controversial in a NLD at WHL is he, surely?! His actions could end up intensifying matters after the game. Very dangerous, especially if people have drink in them.

I wish you hadn't posted those PNP it still makes me angry when I see them.

Clattenberg & Webb both try to let the game flow and that's probably why they are rated highly by the FA but it means when they make 'mistakes' they are often big ones. We don't need refs with big Ego's who think they are entertainers. It's a poor decision to put refs like this in charge of the NLD with all the consequences involved. I have seen many tackles worse than Ade's go unpunished this season for example.

On the upside, Bale's recent goals would be very hard to rule out even for Clattenberg and he owes us a penalty or two.

Ditto. Said the same to a Spurs fan I know. Southern clubs always treated with contempt, would never of happened in a Merseyside or Manchester Derby, they'd have appointed a proper ref.

Just been on the Arsenal board and posted what I think should be their line up and identified Walker as the weak link.

As far as it goes for Spurs the team pretty much picks itself. Bale and Holtby will obviously start as will Lennon, Dawson, Vertonghen, Dembele and Parker. Not much for me to say here really.

The key is obviously Bale getting at Mertesacker and Vermaelen, undoubtedly the chinks in their armour. Also stopping Walcott and getting as tight to Cazorla as possible (Parker's job).

I expect Arsenal to be slightly more compact at WHL than in recent seasons, partly due to confidence and being wary of a poor start.

Arsenal started the games against Chelsea, City, Bayern, United and Liverpool poorly and it ended up costing them, even their home games against Spurs and West Ham, although they romped to victory, poor start in both. Important AVB underlines the significance of starting off on the front foot and getting that early goal as it seems to be common theme for Arsenal to concede early in big matches.

Walker hasn't had a good season, but has sorted himself out in the last 2 or 3 games. Although defensively he's been very average, who have arsenal got on the left side who is going to test walker's pace and strength?

It's more important for us that Benny is plying left back to keep an eye on Walcott. - He always seems to get in behind us during these games.

    The Mighty Thor:

I would accept any win - even a last minute of 7 added extra time debateable penalty winner - oh sorry no that would make us Ars*n*l wouldn't it?

Seen it already on another site. It's actually not a bad likeness.

And there's no need to cheat. But I wouldn't want to spoil it by telling you why there's no need to cheat :)

I saw it on the other thread. I looks nothing like who it's supposed to, IMO. especially the other image that PNP has posted.

It looks like lehmann to me although going on the pictures in the back ground I would say its meant to be Bergkamp.

Whoever sculpted that clearly didn't consider the pose all that well, I'd say the risk of vandalism to his nether regions is quite high...

<laugh> for god sake, I missed those photo's in the background! <doh>

    I thought Lehmann too.

I also wouldn't want a lift off the sculptor either...he's left his spare wheel on the racking top shelf!
