    Christian Gross used public transport

In retrospect, that should have served as a warning...

I'd be tempted to try Aurier as part of a back three, as he's supposed to be capable of playing there.
That would allow us to use Walker-Peters, Rose, Foyth and the domestically suspended Sanchez.
Sissoko, Winks, N'Koudou, Llorente, Vorm in goal and one other... not sure who.
Georgiou? Too old for the U19s and I'm sure he'd fancy another shot at his fellow Cypriots.

One person tweeted that Edwards MUST start, which at least covered HITC's quota for Spurs stories that hour...

Having browsed through his twitter feed, it's apparent that Lloris, Dier, Kane, Eriksen and Trippier aren't going to be involved.
Alli will definitely start, Amos and Sterling will make the squad and N'Koudou will be involved in some manner.
Photos on our official twitter are of Rose, Aurier, Son, Llorente, Foyth, Winks, Dembele, Vertonghen and Sissoko. Hmm...

The ref for tomorrow's game has been confirmed as Slavko Vinčič (SVN).
A fairly young ref, it's only his second Champions League game of the season and it's quite a high profile game for him.

Didn't we want to finish above Real for an "easy" first game against a runners up?

Can you explain the logic to me regarding Alli?

Unless he's not starting on the weekend and Lamela is...I can't see no sense in it.

Maybe Poch thinks he needs the game time, due to his suspension he has played fewer European games and might benefit from another game in Europe before the last 16 matches. It is also possible that if we are leaving out Kane & Eriksen and with Lamela not named in the ECL squad Poch thinks that we need someone in the XI who might provide the spark to win the match. Just my thoughts others may disagree

Maybe Dele is a player who needs to play his way back into form...he doesn't look tired to me...just off form.

Poch has also stated in the past that he likes to keep momentum (not that there is any at the moment) and not make too many changes all at once. So we may see a fair few faces tomorrow that could do with a rest, despite the fact that the game doesn’t mean a lot.

Makes sense now...I suppose it's like being 'reverse benched' having to play in a meaningless game.

We have? If we lose tomorrow and Real beat Dortmund.....don't they have a better goal difference?

Doesn't matter, as these are the tiebreaker criteria
    1.) Head-to-head results
2.) Goal difference between head-to-head teams
3.) Goals scored between head-to-head teams
4.) Away goals between head-to-head teams
5.) (irrelevant for us, as Dortmund can't catch up to us or Los Ladrones)
6.) Goal difference in all group matches
7.) Goals scored in all group matches
8.) Away goals scored in all group matches
    9.) Wins
    10.) Away wins
    11.) Disciplinary points
    12.) UEFA club coefficient

The four points we took of Los Ladrones supersedes their goal difference.
