Yes it was a scrappy first half and we never got fully into our stride but with Eriksen, Alli, Dembele, Jan, Wanyama, Rose and Lamela all missing I'll take 3-0 all day. Hope Dier is ok of course, we'd be in a difficult situation if he misses games right now.

    What a player Kane is.

I know it weren't a great performance and we got lucky at times but there are several positives.
    1) Davies is in very good form
    2) Winks seems to be fully recovered from his injury...he was good tonight.
    3) Sissoko was an asset again!
    4) Trippier appears to have rediscovered how to cross accurately...was a great assist for Kane's third.
    5)Pochettino's substitutions worked well.
    6) We were missing Eriksen, Dembele, Dele, Vertongen and Wanyama tonight. Every team would be poorer without 5 key first teamers.

Harry Kane is looking more like our new Jimmy Greaves every time I see him. The unfussy way he scores goals is very Greaves like.

Sort of 'What else would you expect me to do with it'

You missed Rose and Lamela. Arguably seven starters, though it's probably only six.

Again, it has that 2010 feel to it.
    Defending champions in our group.
    Averaging 3 goals per game.

All we need now is Bale to score 3 OGs
at Wembley after 50 yard runs.

A pundit after the Hammers match said Spurs are sacrificing the fancy dan football to grind out results by being boring, I have to say if we keep grinding out results like this I don't really mind.

That was a tough night for Spurs but even though we didnt play well we got the job done.

You know you are in for a tough night when two of your most dependable and experienced players in Lloris and Alderwireld are making mistakes.
Big respect to Apeol though who gave us a very tough first half and with better finishing and more luck would have had more rewards.

Harry Kane is just sensational right now, still not world class because he needs to prove it on the big stage for a while longer but he will be, that there is no doubt.

Big mention for young Harry Winks, an absolute diamond of a midfielder, so mature and accomplished. Ben Davies again with another near perfect display. Son started brightly but was dissapointing particualry towards the end. Sissoko did well again, great energy with mistakes on the ball to a minimum and even got an assist.

Our away form is superb, carrying on from the end of last season, Dele, Eriksen, Vertonghen and possibly Dembele will be back, and i cant see Huddersfield keeping Kane in check on Saturday.

    Happy Days.

Any talk of Harry going to Madrid or Barca is premature and a tad inane. Whilst Harry is a good centre forward I don't think he suits the style of the big two clubs and I can't really see him moving to either of them. There was talk of him joining Utd but is he a Jose type of player? No, he isn't. For all the hype I think it's best he stays with Spurs.

    may do exactly that.

I think Kane could cut it in any team right now.

His rise in the last few years has been staggering.

Agreed but he isn't right for any of the teams I mentioned. He'll be making a big mistake joining any of them.
