I'd been screaming at Lamela before the goal as he ran at their defence but didn't either keep going or shoot. He passed sideways and the move broke down.... Too much to ask a guy that's been out for weeks to have the confidence. Then he does it at the wrong end!

Clearly i AM NOT a Tottenham fan but fair play. Needs to be recognised for the shear heart and grit your players exhibited. Im no fan of liverpool either, as they nicked all our players, so best the final is abandoned! My next door neighbour is delighted though!

Imagine a slightly different version of the match.....the two Ajax goals are disallowed because of the foul on Vertonghen and the high boot on Trippier, the Son shot in the first half goes in, as does the Eriksen one. So we are winning 2-0 at half time. We don't put Llorente on so don't score any more goals. Ajax pull it back to 2-1 with 20 mins left. I reckon they might equalise to win it from there. Just shows how football matches can depend on very fine margins. Which is why it's a bad idea to change things too early. I wanted to use this match so I couldn't be accused of sour grapes.
