Gosh. What is it with fate and Spurs this season in the CL. Remember after several early games we were dead and buried...then survived to the knockout series. We were dead and buried against City....and something incredible happened....Spurs came back.....and now after 0-1 at home and 0-2 down in the semis....something incredible happened again...…..could it happen yet again in Madrid???????? COYS!

Sissoko definitely drove you forward and basically took out the midfield at times, but so often I was thinking (quite vocally I might add) "release it!!!" to someone in space in front of him, only for him to take on one too many players which kind of undone his good work. I think there are better players than him to do that side of it, that's all. And had he done that you would've got even more chances in those last 15-20 mins.

Amazing end to the game though so I suppose it made the 3rd a fairy tale ending.

My thoughts exactly big smithy. Will it be yet another one goal difference and a late winner or loser?

Is anyone thinking about Everton yet?

  8. When they hit the post, late on in the second half, and then Lloris pulled off a fantastic save, I said to my boy "God is a Yid!"

Former Ajax and Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal: "The introduction of Fernando Llorente made the big difference after the break,.

"Matthijs de Ligt and Daley Blind were embarrassed by him, also by the connecting midfielders of the Spurs. The defence of Ajax could not play that.

"This defeat was completely unnecessary. At half time there was nothing wrong with a 2-0 lead. In the second half, Tottenham took more and more risk and more and more attackers entered the field. Ajax made the wrong choices in possession of the ball in that phase."

Tottenham's hat-trick hero Lucas Moura speaking to BT Sport: "Impossible to explain what I'm feeling. I'm very happy and very proud of my team-mates. Always believe in this moment. We gave everything on the pitch and deserved this moment - we are family. Impossible to explain. Big gift from God I'd like to share with team-mates, friends and family.

"It's about not only me but my team-mates and teamwork. Everyone worked really hard. Too difficult to play here against Ajax but I always believed in my team-mates. Even without key players we did really well. We need to fight in every game like this.

"The football is amazing - it gives us a moment like this. We cannot imagine. The best moment in my life - in my career. I only need to say thank you to my team-mates."

Gonna be difficult telling him he's on the bench if Kane is fit.
