The offside trap is definitely malfunctioning today, that’s two now.

2-0. Lee Angol, our former Academy striker. Ball over the top and the high line is breached, again.

3-0. Another long ball that beats the offside trap and another goal for Orient. This is awful.

This is men and against boys, literally and figuratively.

It has to be said how many of the players out there right now will be with us at the end of the window

Reports back in May suggested that Kazaiah Sterling and Shilow Tracey weren't long for the club, and surely Anthony Georgiou's time to step up passed at least two years ago

3-1. Markanday pulls one back. He's a right-winger playing at left-back, for some reason.

That’s why Markanday should be playing in his natural position. Soft shot but he’s a tricky player to deal with, being wasted at LB.

Not sure we have any more, right? Cirkin with the 1st team now of course.

3-2. Thorpe gets another one back. Late run onto a cross.

Get in! Trialist with a good cross and Thorpe buries it.

I’d have played Georgiou LB, he’s got more experience there than Markanday.

We’ve improved since the 3rd O’s goal. Marsh showing some nice touches but it could be that his time has passed to make it straight away at the top level. I like the look of Lyons-Foster, looks like a very cultured CB.

Would be nice to see more of Jack Roles as the game goes on, he hasn’t really gotten into the game yet.

3-2 HT. Went 3-0 down to simple balls before they started playing, then got 2 back and could've had more. Very strange match.
Doesn't look like there's a lot of depth to our academy, unfortunately. Needs to be addressed quickly, just as our first team does.

So quick question about Trialist playing at RB

    ...can he play RB?

Well it looks like he can cross a ball, so that’s a start.

Would've made more sense to play Georgiou at LB given he has experience there

Then I remember that Wayne Burnett is still in charge...

4 subs at half-time. Oluwayemi replaces de Bie in goal, Pochettino, Bennett and Etete appear to be the others.
Marsh goes to right-back, Trialist moves to centre-half and, er... not sure about the rest.
