And so another season is over (finally). Congratulations to our winner this year

@mustyfrog

A thoroughly well deserved win, even allowing for the circumstances this year that have been anything but normal. Although we lost our long term leader after the lockdown, musty has been exceptional since the restart and it would have taken a top effort to have kept up with him. Fingers crossed the Swans are part of next season's competition.

That said, I have to acknowledge that we have also lost 2 very strong players in @littleDinosaurLuke and @Rebelspur for the last 9 weeks - hope to see them both back next season (in a few weeks time!).

The final set of games saw good weeks for @audrey.s.thackeray @KingHotspur and @Roo - taking all 3 of them comfortably into our top division.

Thanks to all for keeping predicting in a very rushed finish that was tricky for all of us to keep track of. Quite a few predictions missed in the bedlam, but not nearly as many as I expected. If the appetite is there next season, I will run this again, but look forward to a more orderly competition

Champions League spot, I'll take that considering there was a period I was in the Glen Johnson league.

Cheers for doing this again, SD, I'll be up for it again next season.

<ok>

Oh and @C. Kane if you're looking in from all the way down there...

Is the season opener between the two champions of their respective leagues?

Congrats to mustyfrog.

How can I be top of one league and soooooo bad in the other?

Thanks again, SD. I'm pleased with that outcome. After all, I was down in 18th position
when things were halted, and under serious pressure with the threat
of having to seek re-election (remember when they used to do that?!).
Enjoy your break, but don't forget to get us going again! :emoticon-0137-clapp <applause> :emoticon-0148-yes:

Cause I removed Lawro from the league. Never leave him in the final table. So the same reason Luke and Rebel went up one without playing.
If anyone is interested he would have come equal 4th with DH and PNP, so the rest of us below are a place lower compared to week 37.

thanks SD. i've run games in the past so i know what a ballache this **** can be so thanks for putting your time in
I know what you mean. Sunday night after a busy weekend and you've got to plug in 10 games for 24 people and publish the table ahead the next set of games on a Tuesday, but on the whole I enjoy doing it. If I can get some banter going on the back of it, so much the better. I like the irrational head to heads - Spurlock v RCL, DH v CK etc - why? If I just calculate the table and publish, it's a bit boring, but I hope there can be a bit of piss-taking going on around it.

Lawro is not equal to me, thank you very much. :emoticon-0173-middl

The maths say different. You should worry. He's better than me!
His moustache ran away and is posting his results for him.
****er only got points because Liverpool finally did what he's predicted for years, even when they were ****.
