I decided against playing this year. I enjoy the game, but I ended up rooting for Liverpool to score a winner to get points. That was a step too far! I'll watch the rest of you flounder from a safe distance. I'm available as a consultant for a small fee.
A shame though. Few get involved like you do, which I liked but rooting for a hated local rival is an evil by-product of the game and I get that that could rankle. Arsenal losing is always of more joy than 3 points to me, but as I said you took it very seriously. I hope you'll still check my arithmetic from time to time!
Luke, if you predict the mousers to lose every week without scoring, you will never find yourself in that position. And dont take it too seriously. I have predicted the goons to lose 1:6 today but if they lose 0:6, I wont be super disappointed.
