So there's no change in our management structure.

Trollope will coach and while he's away in the summer Slade will get rid of unwanted players and try to persuade two or three players to sign for us.
That's another season wasted with Slade's record of signing players.

Hopefully Slade will be gone to Blackburn by the end of the month. He's come in to 7/4 second favourite now behind Warnock who's drifting in the betting.

Whether you want Lenny Lawrence to replace him or not, I can't see him coming in if Slade is still with us - more bloody chiefs than Indians.

I hope you're right about Slade going.
But our manager/coach must be a full timer. Hopefully Trollope will leave his Wales post after the Euros.

Cheers Sheepy - sheer common sense from Coleman.

Unless Trollope insisted he stayed with the Wales set up as a condition of taking the City job, I don't understand why he was being allowed to carry on after the Euros for the World Cup qualifiers next year.

I realise it would be a bit of downer for Coleman to replace Trollope this close to the tournament but to let him carry on in the dual role for the next couple of years could hinder his focus on what's needed at the CCS.

For me sorting City out is a huge job in itself to get right without any other distractions.
