sid my love how are you ? does mammy know youre here ? this is the big boys thread not some team with huns in their name
Well, I would say Porto got the best out of him but oh well, the point is that he isn't by any means just an attacking midfielder and if he can recapture porto form could even be a good replacement for the beast that is essien (even if i hate his teams ****ing guts)
He was a ****bag in tackles of any description when he played for us and he wont gain any bottle for chelsea, hes a luxury that pays dividends if a teamate watches his back, did'nt Gerrard take a red at OT for the twat.
Well when you do dont take communion and pretend you've been to confession,or its purgatory and ten hail mary's and an act of contrition plus a full decate of the rosary for you.
raul is a pussy not committing to tackles, his passing can be very poor and while people were praising him last season i described him as "a headless chicken with a decent shot" i stand by that claim
District Line. Chelsea did marvellous business. They spent £12 million on a Liverpool squad player who tackles like Michael Carrick. In other words....he doesnt. He also has never played a full 90 minutes in the premiership. Liverpool have Roman Abramovich to thank for helping them rebuild their squad. The £70 million they got has really helped, as the three players Chelsea bought (Mereiles, Torres and Benayoun) weren't worth a combined £70 million. Mereiles isn't a bad player, but to suggest Liverpool are worse off now that he's left is utter nonsense. It could have a lot worse, they could have paid £40 million for Luka Modric. Sometimes its necessary to shop around, Liverpool paid £6.5 million for Charlie Adam who does exactly the same thing, and scored more goals and provided more assists.
maybe if you knew anything about his career then you'd realise i was right you ****tard much love xxx
Liverpool have done good business, but their squad is only as good as a 4th place squad. More players like Suarez and you will pose a threat to the top 3 but the squad to midfield heavy an the squad isn't complete. You do play good football now though. This is me trying to be as fair as possible, and it's always good to be confident but 1st-3rd place is set in stone pretty much. Anyway, if you win a trophy this year you would have done it faster than Man City which would be a great sign for the future.
He's not an attacking midfielder or a defensive midfielder. The position he played for Porto and Portugal is know as "the latch" in Portugal. The position is a midfield position that patrols the half way area looking to protect the back 4 and play attacking balls. A mix of both.
