Small note on Marcus Barnes, as his status came up in the episode: he's too old to qualify as an Under 21 for squad purposes, and he was not included in the 25-man squad at the outset of the season. As such, he cannot feature in a first team match until the start of January at the earliest.

 

Great listening as always Ben, and the good mood gets stronger! I particularly enjoyed Total Recall and one of the many highlights from the Koeman era. Pity you didn’t feel able to include a bit from Jose’s epic post-match conference!

TSP57 is our Christmas Special, with Adam Leitch (Chief Sports Writer, Daily Echo) and Ben Stanfield (Host of TSP) getting a rare chance to catch up and record in person (for that reason, we gave Steve the Pod off!)

A tale of two draws for Saints this week. One a fightback. One a heartbreak.

In this week’s Total Recall, Will Dawe and Leon Burton from Saints Archive invite a famous 1976 FA Cup winner onto the Podcast – Jim McCalliog.

We talk to a charming Jim about that famous day in 1976, his time with Saints in general and what he makes of the Club/team these days.

It was a disappointing result for Saints against Cardiff City, but Episode 63 of TSP saw us trying to remain as positive and optimistic as we could about the run until the end of the season.
