The official site describes it as: "The deal will become permanent should City gain promotion to the Premier League at the end of the 2020-21 campaign."
Both Jacob and Josh left too early really. Sam Byram made the same mistake. Jamal is mature for his age with loads of experience at City and for NI. If this is true Newcastle are showing clear interest and an appropriate initial bid. My choice would be Leicester if he is to leave, but Newcastle is a decent alternative and certainly better than sitting on the bench at Liverpool. Of all of the young stars he is arguably the one we could most afford to lose with Quintilla and McCallum now and Byram's ability to play at LB.
With Bruce in charge, he'll certainly learn how to defend. Not surprised that Jamal is the one from all our youngsters to attract serious attention. Much more mature as a player than the others.
That would be disappointing if it proves to be true. Mike Bailey's £15m plus add ons looks more reliable to me.
I'm not sure that is a great deal for us but , £13.5m would more than cover the costs of recruitment this season.
He is eligible but is lacking match fitness having not played any pre season friendlies. Maybe on the bench, but doubt it.
Fairly understandable of the Telegraph, really. It's really right wing - and that's the flank Aarons likes to maraud down.
