Do you know gendros that the minimum wage has decreased by 12% in real terms value since these bastards came into power? Rather than scrapping benefits as you say, wouldn't it be a better option for the Tories to scrap the minimum wage and introduce a new Living Wage to make work pay?
The belief held by some that the best way to make work pay is to slash the benefits is ridiculous as it will only push thousands of more children into poverty each year, something the ideological supporters of the Tories fail to both see and understand.

As for those who cheat the benefits system, that pales in comparison to those who cheat the tax system in the way of avoiding the payment of tax owed. A much better policy would be to go after those companies that refuse to pay tax into the system, but as usual its easier to go after the easy target.

 

Dragon its you are the one without a clue, I'm from the thalidomide generation, a friend of mine, who I grew up with has this condition. She went through local schools, uni and has a job locally. She would hate to be pigeon holed as disabled by someone like you. She has never claimed end benefits in her life and probably lay never will.

The fact is Valley dispite you and others bleating on here about how unfair it is in the UK, there are countless millions who are desperate to get here and benefit from our democracy, education and healthcare. I'm all for them coming to, I only regret not being able to ship out some of the wasters and criminals I see every day. If you don't like it you can always leave.

 

She never had her benefits taken away in the first place. Her disability living allowance (£152 per week), housing benefit etc, were never in danger. This was all about her Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) (further £110 per week) which requires regular job centre interviews, which she obviously didn't attend for whatever reasons.

The second guy's benefits were stopped/delayed because his mother (carer) forgot to fill out the forms in time.

In all honesty if these are the best examples of our cruel government we have nothing to worry about.

Yes you are spot on valley, my sister in law works in Cardiff, and deals daily with these immigrants that Gendros is on about, and they claim for absolutely everything, and get given it with a red carpet, but our own are treated as lepers by this Nazi party we have in power, but come 2015 and they will be out for a very long time.

I for one can't fault people for moving looking to improve their lot, the Poles I've met are hardworking decent people. Britain is widely known as 'hand out' Britain, hence why many foreigners come here because of the generous benefits package they can receive. I for one would rather see all job seeking related benefits disappear and everybody earning a living wage to provide for their families and not live a life of poverty on the dole. However, we live in an imperfect world, where there are a lack of jobs and some people are in genuine need of state support, which the current government are trying to decrease to increase even further the quickly developing underclass.

There are many who come to this country to work,however there are also many who come to this country to live off the benefit system. If you have £50, you have 2 people to give money too, you spread it evenly, each get £25. You now take in 2 immigrants, your now giving them £12.50 each. Either that or your going to be lending £50 of Tom, too pay then £25 each. It is you who need to come back to reality here with this too much, or too little bull****.

They come to the UK Swanselona because there is plenty of work here, because there is a multitude of Brits who will not get off their lardy fat butts to do it, when the immigrants are in work they pay taxes and national insurance to pay for the said lard arses to remain on their fat butts. You need to wake up and smell the coffee, your attitude and peoples like it, is what is turning us into a soft nation unable to compete on the world stage, thank goodness these people come to do the work.

 

Dreyfus that's a load of rubbish, the only people who can come into the country are EEC citizens or those with particular skills we need all others are illegal aliens and should be deported. We have a long and fantastic record of supporting asylum seekers in this country, including saving thousands from the hands of the Nazi's, long may this continue.
