Torres has been ****e for over a year. At the minute there isn't even a debate, van Persie is a better player. It's not even close. Lucaaas might not be a wum, but he is definitely a ****ing idiot, who more than likely has a hard-on for Torres.

So we judge players on their current form if they've had a dip in form? Was Rooney a worse player than Kevin Doyle between June 2010 and Decemeber 2010? No. Don't be such a ******.

Looking at both their respective careers, Torres has been better than Van Persie, and probably will be again once he finds his form.

Do you have a hard on for Rooney then, seeing as you claimed Suarez was nowhere near him??

Bit more than a little dip, he was sh ite for Liverpool for a long while and has been pure muck for Chelsea since he signed, making him arguably one of the most overpriced and worst major tranfer buys in history bar a massive turnaround in form, this is not a RVP v Torres debate so stop trying to make it one.
RVP has never been absolute ****e and had fans turning on him and wanting him dropped in his whole career. Class and skill never leave, pace and form can and do ala Torres.
Take the poster down off your wall, it's not cool or healthy.

Everytime Van Persie got injured Arsenal fans on 606 were asking whether he should be sold as he couldn't be relied on. I bet you've forgotten about things like that though. And I've never heard Chelsea fans call for Torres to be dropped and turning on him? Has Torres been booed at Stamford Bridge or something?

So everytime you rate one player higher than another, it means you have some weird affection for the player you rate higher?

Ok, ok, I admit it, Robin Van Persie is better than Messi, he dominates every centre half he goes up against and everytime he shoots he scores. The only reason no one has ever bid a decent amount of money for him is because he is such a loyal, fantastic player. Its not because he's not reliable or prolific enough, no sir. I'm surprised Barcelona haven't come in for him yet, or Man City. Maybe no one has come in for him because Arsenal are so great at holding onto their top players, they know they have no chance of getting him.

Van Persie had the potential to be better than Dennis Bergkamp, the only problem with Van Persie is, he's made of glass. On his day and when he's on form, there is very players of his type better than him. He's an elegant withdrawn forward and plays well with a 6 yard box finisher.

As pointed out Torres has a better scoring rate than RVP in a shorter period of time in the Prem,so whats your problem?
