The amount of times he has been put in and he fails to get a shot off is not what you expect from someone of his talent. Don't know if it will cost you though, looking very good at the moment. How you deal with the big games and after losing a game will be the Big tests for you.

If I was a betting man I'd have a pop at you winning the league.

I think we have a chance but what makes me a little wary at this stage is we are normally rubbish Nov-Dec time and we've yet to play either of the Mancs. If we're still top by January, we certainly have a chance.
 
The thing with Torres is that he hasn't the confidence. This is clearly a major factor with him and you can see it in the way he plays. He feels that he has to play really skilfully to grab people's attention when in truth, if he just did the basics (simple passes, getting in the right positions and shooting when he has a clear sight of goal) then he would find form in no time.

For me though I think we need another striker and I would love for us to get Demba Ba who is skilful, cheap and would work well with our 'three musketeers'.
 
The problem with Torres was that he as coming out of a miserable run of form prior to us buying him which is even makes the 50 mil sale even more astonishing - as I recall he had a season-ticket for the treatment room at Anfield. Anyway, be as that may I can't see him as a 20/30 striker it would take a remarkable transformation - Agree with Bucks on the Demba Ba solution it would give us another option and would take the pressure off our midfield trio in having a goalscorer in their midst.
 
torres is always just one notch off and that can not be a bad thing. if he bags the winner on sunday he will be worth every penny
