I was there in 09 when a last gasp goal put us out. Believe me Torres' goal felt like a winner and until that point I didn't dare believe we'd done it. Ramieres though was superb and his goal was world class. He hasn't been forgotten.

Perhaps you should also include Drogba's brilliant goal out of nothing in the home leg as the goal that got you to the final.
In the grand scheme of things, Ramires scored a crucial goal and Torres didn't but after what happened in 09, the majority of Chelsea fans would have celebrated Torres' goal more becuase it pretty much sealed their place in the final and avoided heartbreak from 3 years ago. A goal that didn't mean much in the game but meant a lot to the fans. Scoring at the Nou Camp watched by millions globally to take his club to the biggest club game in the world will do him a lot of good.
How do you know it wouldn't have made a difference? How do you know Barca wouldn't have scored in the last seconds to go through like they did in '09? It was a big, crucial goal in the game that secured Chelsea's place in the final.
