very very simple answer here.

just how many goals has suarez made for carroll?

ok so its an answer i nthe form of a question but there you go.. its boils down to how the hell anyone thinks torres in a blue funk <laugH> would score off suarez's supply when clealry he's not supplied anything.

I think torres put a transfer request in so all in all a completely moot question. he wanted to go, he got exactly what he wanted and we're dead chuffed how his move to chelsea has shown up how out of control lampard, terry and drogba are. How many more manegrs does RA need to go through before he clears out the egos.

The likes of lampard terry and drogba are on t he way down. They need to be cleared out . Torres will be handicapped as long as they are around.

I think Torres and Suarez if given time would have formed one of the most fearsome partnerships in European football.

The clown of an owner is blinded by this though, he would rather get yet another manager in than deal with the ACTUAL problems which is their senior players having serious authority issues.

That's the problem. Same with us and Carroll, although it looks like he's turned the corner to be fair to him.

Torres should get another season, but he is looking like a carbon copy of Shevchenko. I mean he was the one of the best in the world before he went to Chelsea.

It's pains me when some just remember him as the crap Chelsea striker.

He never really recovered. Wonder if Torres will.

I remember him as the guy that missed the penalty

Torres is finished and has been for a while now.

He was same during the world cup 2 years ago. The last time he looked anything like his former self was where he scored his two goals against Chelsea before he left for them.

It's incredible that Chelsea payed 50 million for him, you think they would have learnt after paying all that money for Shevchenko? It's Shame you guys went and spanked 35 million on Carroll, regardless whether he's turning a corner or not, he'll never be worth anything near that but I'm not complaning.

I agree that Abramovich needs to learn that it's sometimes the players who need ousting and not the manager. Saying that, the amount of managers who have come in for Chelsea in the last 5 years and have played the usual suspects suggests they would rather have those players in the team..

That problem then is, once these players are replace, Torres will be that bit older (27 now) and will need replacing too.

for me if sturridge would shut the hell up and play right wing he could be great.

cheslea need a left wing, they bought mata to please torres and he's done nothing still.

They need a real cm not our cast off... lol

they just have this unassailable blight that pervades the club even if the big three are not playing... they've poisoned half the paleyrs there i think.

cech
boswinga cahill terry cole
luiz essien
sturridge mata malouda
torre

thats OUGHT to handily be good enough to go on a big run of form, take 4th and challenge i nthe cl... but they can't see it and want 4-3-3 with lampard and drogba back in.

Torres is not finished he just needs to reinvent himself, he wont be a success at chelsea however, a change of club a lack of pressure (maybe even a new haircut) and a team that actually wants him & he'll start banging them in again.

Best thing for him is going back to Atleti. As for Suarez he isnt in Torres's class (when he came to Liverpool) as a striker yet.

If I was in charge I'd stick Sturridge in the middle and shift Torres out to the left side of attack. I think he could do a great job arriving from a wide position, unmarked and able to pick his spot. Much like Suarez did for Ajax when he scored 30+ a season. He's looked at his most dangerous when he's drifted out wide this season imo.

--------Cech
Ivan--Terry-Cahill--Cole
------Essien-Luiz
-Ramires-Mata-Torres
-------Sturridge

One problem with that formation is will Cashley get too exposed down the left, tho' you could get Essien or Luiz to help cover him when the team is defending.

Ramires right wing ?! Cant say i've seen him play there EVER & his work ethic would be wasted, they have played best with him driving from the centre, also Torres on the left is quite ridiculous, he would be a right backs dream opponent.

I see Chelsea issues in midfield.

I think they should go:

----------------Luiz-----------------
--------Meireles---Essien---------
-----Kalou------------Mata--------

and either Torres, Sturridge or Drogba.

But I kinda like seeing them slip up.

Thats when his problems started!

Well there's certainly no harm in changing it again, personally i believe a Justin Bieber Cut or maybe a Frankie Cacozza would give him the confidence to reignite his career either that or fall into a spiralling descent of Cheap Lager, even cheaper Girls & a hell of a lot of cheap cocaine.

In all seriousness, I believe it cant happen for him at chelsea, his record is so poor it's impossible to escape, there's simply too much pressure on him & I think he puts too much pressure on himself as well. As I said before the best thing for him to do is escape to a club which would appreciate his services & the pressure wouldn't be as high i.e Atleti.

If you look at his record prior to LFC he was hardly prolific, I think it was just over 1 goal in every 3 games. He had 2 maybe 3 quality season's at Liverpool but even then he tailed off the previous season, when does a suppossed blip become the return to the norm ? maybe he wasn't EVER a world class striker & just had a couple of amazing seasons ! Quite interesting I think, and becomes even more interesting when you factor that not only did the whole team played FOR him but he probably had the best service he's ever likely to get in his career with Steven Gerrard playing some of HIS best football at the same time too.

Forget Inter club rivalries anyone with a ounce of footballing knowledge will admit Gerrard was phenomenal in & around those 2 season's and was certainly a world class act playing behind Torres and found him with almost telepathic regularity. I believe any striker who is above average would have reaped a similar return with the same service he received.
