He's still young and developing. He may not have set the world alight but everyone can see his workrate and hunger, combined with intelligent running and a willingness to get into the box.

He's not ready for the first team but a decent option to have.

Even though we've been desperate for a class striker for 2 seasons, at least we have developing one's with an option to bring off the bench!!! <cheers>

  3. You need more than one striker. Most top teams have three or four <ok>

Morgan has real potential, as does Yesil. Bright future ahead for LFC but still concerned about our present! Need to keep picking up points and getting around the top 8 mark and hopefully we can land some good players in January!

Just like Swansea, who scored fewer goals than all but four teams at home and two away, despite all that possession. Is that what convinces you of a top half finish? Or is it Rodgers' career 41% win % and 36% loss %, which is worse than Hodgson's? You may not have noticed but we played some excellent football last season and beat all the top teams while winning silverware, something Arsenal's Barca style has systematically failed to do, all in Kenny's first rebuilding year, and it wasn't enough for some whiny gets who think patience is a puppy: it gets really boring after Christmas.

Jeez, I think I'll promise Playboy models for all the fans, football with all the razzamatazz of a Broadway show and talk in corporate middle-management speak about synergies and how attitude plus dedication plus motivation equals a paradigm shift of application, then I'll get myself a top job.

Ignore my record, believe my hype and have patience in me. I will deliver, eventually. Probably.

Liverpool so far this season, IMO have played our most attractive footy since Roy Evans was manager, 2 of 3 new signings have been excellent ( Assaidi will be a absolute bargain for 3m ), and Borini has been ok and is TWENTY ONE, and likely to improve, BR has realised what the cr*p is instantly ( Adam, Spearing) and got rid, offloaded the elder big wage earners, saving the club £20m a season meaning we can afford a big money striker in Jan.( I will be miffed if the owners dont back him)

I am more hopeful about LFC, by a country f**kin mile, since Rafas Xabi,Masch,Torres , the finish 2nd season

If this manager gets money, WE WILL WIN THE LEAGUE , WITH THIS MANAGER, IM CERTAIN, In my opinion

Hes spotted things Kenny and Woy couldnt see in all there time at Anfield and hes spotted it in weeks. He s brave, picking young players, picks on performance ( dropping Downing & Enrique ), we havent so much possesion in game since the 80s, we just need a couple or 3 new QUALITY signings, and we be right up there IMO,along with a few tactical changes which the new signings would help bring in

Rodgers is only 39 years old. What was Rafa's win percentage at the same age? I'll tell you - it was approx 40% (at Extremadura). It wasn't only until Rafa got to Valencia and Liverpool did he really find his feet and implement his methods to full effect.

Liverpool could be the same fit to Rodgers, as Valencia/Liverpool was for Rafa.

Even though we are supposedly as bad as you say, we are still a far BETTER team than you.
