16th September update:

Macclesfield Town (National League)

Club wound up in the High Court, owing over £500,000.
Gone, after 146 years.

Football historians 100 years from now will say that this was the final outcome of the premier league split in 92, coronavirus was simply the shock which sped up the process. Macclesfield is sadly the beginning, not the end.

23rd September update;

Leyton Orient (League Two)

Could not play their EFL Cup fixture against Tottenham Hotspur on September 22nd because a number of Orient players tested positive for COVID19.

No news yet as to whether the Cup tie will be rescheduled, or whether any action will be taken against Leyton Orient.
Orient will miss out on approx £100,000 if the match is not played.

The Orient Chairman warns against his Club being punished, arguing that such action will be a disincentive for lower league Clubs to carry out Coronavirus tests.
 
25th September update;

Leyton Orient (League Two)

This weekend's League Two fixture between Walsall and Leyton Orient has been suspended due to the number of Orient players who tested positive for Coronavirus.

Thomas Sandgaard completes his purchase of CAFC.
The EFL transfer embargo should be lifted soon...

The BBC news site is hedging it's bets, saying that Sandgaard is CLAIMING he has bought the Club, with EFL confirmation to follow later today.
 
25th September update III;

Grimsby Town (League Two)

The Club is unable to play it's L2 fixture against Cheltenham Town this weekend, as several Grimsby players have tested positive for Coronavirus.

Charlton Athletic (League One)

All EFL embargoes lifted within hours of Thomas sandgaard's take-over of CAFC.
Club now free to sign players, within general rules covering the whole league.
Two signings confirmed already...
