It doesnt go far enough in my opinion. Do you know how hard it is to hold back I used to be John Fallen? One day soon Charlie boy we are going to let him off the leash
Aw bless - Are we picking on you Charlie - I think you'll find most people don't dislike you, but you just don't help yourself
Charles people just enjoy taking the piss out of you. Your an easy target Plus you dont really help yourself
Wolves Leicester Bolton Charlton Leeds Birmingham Hope for top two if our forwards can gel together. But minimum of playoffs i think!!! Sorry but dont see Hull in top 8!!!
I fancy Bolton to win the league with us coming in 2nd. Blackburn and Wolves look a decent bet and so do Huddersfield for the play offs As for Hull i think it will be the same story as last season. Solid at the back but piss poor up front
I was going to counter argue your distain against Hull then I saw your signature and laughed, you're forgiven
In all seriousness. Hull could easily do a Forest and have a right ****e season. I'm not wumming when I say they will struggle to finish top half. Although obviously you could do a Reading, who knows. i think we all know what is liklier though.
I don't know how you come to that conclusion. We finished 8th last season and our squad has become considerably stronger, so why you think we'll struggle to finish top half seems a little odd.
I was'nt appoligising, i was showing empathy. Not only are you relying on Fryatt to get you goals at this level but you have charlie as a spokesperson. which is more embarrising seeing Fryatt one on one with the keeper or charlies attempts to keep his foot out his mouth!!!
Because you wont be able to score and Steve Bruce will be sacked. Dont kid yourself into thinking youve gotten considerably stronger when the only improvment has been Aluko and we all know that anything can happen to SPL players in the Championship. See Kris Boyd.
He seemed to do alright when he was one-on-one with Kasper at your place last season didn't he? This is a boring argument to always get in between our strikers, I think deep down you lot know Fryatt will do a job for any club at this level, as do we with Nugent. Last season Fryatt scored more league goals than any Leicester player and I'd back him to do it again. How is that the only improvement? That'd be like me saying De Laet was the only improvement to your squad ... what about your other signings. Right now you've lost a fair amount of players, some of which were regulars last season, we have not. Faye proved last season he is a very solid, reliable and experienced defender who can be a regular part of a team that gets promoted, so I'd question how he doesn't improve the squad. Prozzy has come in with a good record for goal-getting, from a league I believe to be no worse than the Championship, yet you lot seem to think it's on par with the Blue Square Premier, who's really kidding themselves here? Aluko looks to be a very exciting signing. Boyd had about a 1 in 3 record in the Championship, considerably more impressive than that of Futacs. In response to Boyd, there's someone like Fletcher, who's record is either better or the same I think in the Premier League as it was in the SPL.
Bolton Wolves ---------------- Middlesborough Cardiff Leeds Blackburn ---------------- Leicester Huddersfield Hull Its such a hard thing to call especially at the moment. I think Bolton will win the league only because they are keeping consistency with who there manager is. The second auto is so hard to call and think it could be of any of the top 6 to snatch it but Wolves do have the quality (although it looks like they are selling it) and it does entirely depend on whether there manager can adapt. I can see Blackburn struggling with Kean getting the sack and them appointing someone who is actually a football manager that might be able to get them to push strong for the second half of the season. Charlton will have momentum from league 1 and do well but the others are just the usual suspects.
And on the Hull argument. I can just see them failing with Bruce as manager, they may prove me wrong but other than signing Aluko they really don't seem to shout out at me.
We'll be changing our playing style too, so instead of having one upfront, which ultimately was the reason why we scored so few, we now have a strong aerial target man in Proschwitz and Fryatt to feed off him. We all know Fryatt likes having a target man alongside him. Leicester fans especially, he scored masses with Steve Howard by his side. We've managed to hold on to our defence who - now that Reading got promoted - were the best defence in the League last year. So we should be a tad more consistent than last year. It's going to be tough, and I am always pessimistic about City's finishing place - so I can't get let down - and I know it's going to need momentum and consistency throughout the Season, and definitely more goals. I think we'll miss out on the Play Offs this year, but we'll be challenging all Season.
