Our game = Friendly Your game = Competitive Our game meant nothing, your game actually meant something. But tbh, I'd rather we focused on the league too.
When did I say you're going to have a ****e season because of it? You can't not be bothered that you only scraped through your first competitive match of the season? I won't be happy if we do the same to Torquay tonight (If we play anything like a full strength side, like you did) Your last sentence is laughably hypocritical.
Couldnt give a monkeys about the League Cup match at Torquay (tomorrow). Hope we play the academy lads - and if we get knocked out then so be it.
Again in fairness I'm not sure I did - I believe I continued to post that the results of friendlies are meaningless - However, if you can find anything to the contrary please feel free to post it on here
You said it was indicative. It isn't. It's just one game, before the season has started and not an indication of how we'll perform in the league this season at all. I'll save my concern for if we start losing league games, not winning cup ones.
So you think that scraping through a competitive match with a near full strength side against one much weaker isn't indicative of where your side is at at the moment? Come on. It was your sides first home game of the season, your manager's first too. How you not slightly worried is beyond me. If we do the same against Torquay tomorrow (with a full strength side, like yours) i'd be concerned.
Nice to see you can see into the future now what will be happening on the 19th August after Leicester lose to Peterborough
Hull we never get relegated from the Prem again. Nor promoted to it either. I expect their future will shadow the past and present of Bradford City.
I know Charles I was the one who told you. You keep pulling these statements out your arse and then you make an even bigger prat of yourself when you have to backtrack
I was slightly concerned in all fairness, but we haven't really played a full strength side in all of our pre Season games due to a ****e load of injuries so it was basically their first outing as a full strength side in competitiveness. We did win albeit through penalties but we looked solid and had chances but same old City, we didn't take them :L Stewart looked lively for once at least...
If i was a Hull fan going off Bruces past records i would be more satisfied with his record as a championship manager then his average/mediocre record as a prem manager
