And why wasnt Dave given this telling off when he basically called KKK stupid and that he is a failure in life (in so many words).
My insult was a response to his own insult he made against KKK.
Dave does this time and time again. The debate didnt go his way and so he resorted to personal insults......

 

You know there's a real easy way of avoiding dave if he has that effect on you.

Frankly I think you're a decent poster but some of us are getting cheesed off with the unnecessary abuse dished out by rivals. In-house insults are par for the course, we all know each other and that's how it goes on here. And honestly I can't say dave insulted anyone but even if he did, isn't it up to the two of them to sort it?

It would appear that our work experiences have followed very similar paths. However when somebody makes what appears to me to be a snide comment such as "I assume that you haven't been hired by the Glazers then?" then I will feel free to respond in a similar vein. As some of your responses appeared to me to indicate a myopic view to the strategic analysis of the situation then again I will feel free to defend my argument. You may feel that you forwarded a vigorous response (with just a wee bit of piss taking) whereas I considered it to have be a hectoring insult. Nowhere in your responses did you even suggest that you might have considered alternative strategies. No argument was forwarded as to why your suggestions were more appropriate or why there may be flaws in mine. As you say the forum is here to share opinions - share being the operative word.

I still believe the risk factors associated with the big spend policy are just far too high. I further contend that the income stream will not be critically effected by taking a longer period to re-build on solid foundations. The most amusing thing to me is that I really hope that they do follow your strategy and fall flat on their faces which could well mean that they will take the best part of a decade to truly compete for the title.

I also think that if you did read it back (I personally can't be arsed), there's a ton more explanation to my opinion (not just by myself I hasten to add) than there is to yours.....but it remains just my opinion and should carry little weight.

Opinions can be shared, they don't have to be liked or agreed upon and i'm cool with that.....but maybe, if you don't like the piss taking/mud slinging....don't initiate it.....or assume that i'm some half brained fool who doesn't have a clue. See, there you go again! The prime definition of the word rejoinder is a reply. The sharpness or otherwise, the wit that may or may not be involved is an additional though not necessary addition. So taking the piss? Answer NO. Having a good laugh at your inability to define things - most certainly.
