****ing class post lad. Just properly shut him up. Best thing I've read for a while. Love that point about how their misinformed opinion/position is always somehow FACT, and were all just deluded. Even though most of the time where using evidence to back our points up and have been very realistic in our expectations this season and are happily patient waiting to see where he takes us the next few seasons. No-one can deny he's got off to a good start and nearly all Reds I speak to are very happy with him, and have a lot of faith he is the man to take us forward. Really starting to like him. His tactical nous is what has impressed me the most so far as I didn't know he had this ability and it was a big concern of mine.
The only person being childish with that churlish & unecessary rant is you mate. If you don't want to read my posts skip past them, if you want to take issue with my logic, feel free - as that's the purpose of a forum. If however you just want to read the same viewpoint over & over again (with any view other than the norm resulting in a ban) then head over to RAWK pet.
You merely confirm my statement. If i wanted to rant then I would most certainly do so. You are obviously either incapable of the intellectual capacity required to discern that your mere presence acts as an irritant to a growing number of posters on this board or that is precisely your intention. Either way it still proves my contention that you are childish.
Not arsed what your opinion is mate tbh, nor am I arsed that merely by posting I'm somehow irritating you. I'd suggest that you've either not bothered reading most of my posts or you're just pissing up a tree as I'm an Evertonian, either way it doesn't matter a jot. As I said, either respond to my posts & challenge their actual content or ignore them - easy really. I've not had a pop at you, nor your club, just given my opinion about football, on a football forum, shocking behaviour that............
That's more than once you've resorted to the "go to RAWK" jibe. It's just plain silly, because a cursory glance at our board will show a wide range of viewpoints on our club, both on how well we're doing and what we can expect in the foreseeable future. The point is that (almost) all LFC fans have the best interests of the club at heart and our opinions, though different, will reflect that. You, on the other hand, are more interested in finding negatives because you're a rival. You can't expect to come on here saying "you're ****" (no matter how euphemistically you dress it up) and expect to get a warm welcome. Yes you have a right to your opinion- yes, you have a right to post it on here, and yes, we have the right not to give a ****.
I haven't resorted to the 'RAWK jibe', I merely stated a fact, if that's what he wants from a forum i.e no other clubs fans daring to have an opinion or God forbid, a bit of banter , then don't post on a multi club forum then, simple really eh? I don't expect anything & have not asked for anything, if you want to call me a tosser crack on, if you want to ignore me fine, if you want a decent debate - fabulous - but don't post bollocks about my right to even have an opinion, & that's all I was trying to get across to your mate there.
Your post didn't seriously address the points in mine despite your assertion that you'd like others to argue the content of your posts and not just dismiss them. It seems as though you just have a need to have the last word. As I said, there is a wide range of opinion on our board, and as far as I'm aware, nobody has ever been banned for expressing a different one. The only ones who get banned are those who step over the line with their disaster comments, or those who wreck every thread with mindless wumming. Banter's fine- try it sometime.
Not so sure it is a great point, I was a massive Rafa fan, Imho I believe that Dalglish lets us go to ruin first time round but I was not old enough, nor do I wish to go into the past over this issue. As far as BR is concerned there is every chance that BR is giving himself wiggle room. The one thing he had to do was quosh expectations at our club, this is not a dig at Everton but expectations were lower than at ours as they are at West Brom. Therefore if you have a good start everything is rosy, BR is doing the right thing by talking us down he has to use something to lower expectations and he is using the system talk to do that. Thus giving himself the season which you talk about. The guy needs time and he should be afforded that.
Btw MFG is soo depressive, I do not know how he can watch us, glad i dont sit next to him in the ground
I watched the game against Wigan in a pub. There's a guy I know (only from watching the games) comes in and the first thing he says to me is "The picture's ****". After a few minutes he says " Don't like this Joe Allen, all he ever does is pass backwards" Then he sees the line up and says " Not convinced by this Wisdom feller" He then moved down the other end and I didn't speak to him during the game, which is merciful because he'd have had kittens when Hendo came on. At the end he swings by me and says "About bloody time" about the 3-0 win. And I think, 'If you hate football this much why do you even bother watching?' He was right about the picture though......
Your last point to saint confirms my opinion that you merely fall upon your 'rights' - even when the implementation of those rights may cause offence. So I re-state my original point that continued negative posts are merely childish.
What 'offence'? There was nothing even remotely offensive in the post to which you chose to reply & express your disapproval of my mere presence, so don't attempt dress it up as such. You've come back with nothing aside from calling me 'childish', which given the chain of posts & the context is highly ironic.
Why do you think that him talking down the ambition assists the club? I think the only person it aids is him, as if you accept what he's saying he can deliver mediocrity this season & it will be deemed as 'mission accomplished' When Houllier got the sack, it was because "merely top 4 isn't good enough for LFC", fast forwards to Rodgers in 2012, & he's being given a 'free season' devoid of any real stretching targets, which I think is an easy ride, as I reckon I could manage that squad to top 8 like. I think he's played a blinder as far as he's concerned, but I think he's 'low balled' both your owners & your fanbase personally.
You do know that it was the top three that got champions League football for the most of Houllier's tenure don't you...? Note that this actually strengthens your "argument" but thought I'd point it out since your being such a charming fella on this thread
"Although we have reached the Champions League that is a minimum standard and not a goal." http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/l/liverpool/3734773.stm
Ok, which part of my comment did you miss? The bit about 'most of his tenure' or the bit about it strengthening your point...? Besides, does football not change? I was under the impression that you had to move with the times? And that Liverpool aren't what they were?
