Is this the same competition that you qualified for by finishing about 15th in the league or something?
Rumour has it that Micky Mouse wears a Fairs Cup watch...

    1. Sunderland (home)
    2. Sunderland (away)
    3. Man Utd
    4. Aston Villa
    5. Chelsea

Special mentions for Southampton, Arsenal, Everton and Man City - don't dislike them, just rarely seem to beat them, so a win against those would be great (yes I know we beat Citeh last week, but for the first time in ages).

Number 2....I like it, the 4-1 at the stadium of ****e was wonderful, it heaped more ****e on top of a woeful season for the mackems. Was it Howard Dullard Wilkinson who was their 'manager' that season? He was great :1980_boogie_down:

EDIT: I've just checked, it was Kevin Ball. Wilkinson was 2002-ish. Mackems were shocking both seasons if I remember correctly.

Has anyone said Leeds? We've had some cracking scraps with that lot over the years and we've come out on top in many of them.

To be fair you can be forgiven. Finding good seasons is akin to looking for a black cat in a coal cellar.
