Hull can stay up with a win.

Technically yes, but that's relying on on a few things like..........

1. Them beating us 16-0

2. Both Luton and Charlton to get nothing from their last games.

3. Wigan getting deducted the automatic 12 points against which they've appealed claiming "force majeure".

4. ..........and then getting nothing from their last game at home against Fulham (and I wouldn't bet on that).

I wonder what the odds you'd get on that lot given that we're at 1/8 for the double chance win or draw against them.....<whistle>

Am I missing something. Why 16 nil.?

Wigan drop to 46. Wigan fail to win last game and Luton lose. Hull beat us and leap both to safety. Lutons goal difference is better by 2.

By the way I think they are complete sh!t and will go down. But surely they dont have to do anything other than win. Wigan will get the deduction.

It’ll take some strange results but feasibly the play offs could be Brentford v swansea and Fulham v Cardiff.

Or any other combination <doh>

My thoughts exactly. I have money on you useless tossers at 14/1 for promotion so pull your bloody fingers out (of whatever sheep last took your fancy)
but you won't edit this Old Sparkey ?
been there with you and leeds before
If you think bestiality is fine but not what goes on up north then freedom of speech has gone completely
remember .... this is the Cardiff City forum
If leeds tossers come here and are allowed to give it large then they should expect some in return

C'mon Turk - there's a chasm in difference between the historical sheep jibes and the abuse you were levelling at them. The sheep thing is traditional banter and fictional (in the main) and could apply to any part of the UK. As you say we've been there before regarding you, me and Leeds. I got my fingers burned trying to help you and I'm not going there again on this subject.

What you are baiting ordinary Leeds posters with and got you banned from the whole not606 site until I got you reinstated is totally out of order. You cannot accuse their ordinary posters of such heinous factual crimes against children because there were incidents of such in Yorkshire.

You are still banned from the Leed's board and if wrankles with you as unfair, then I'll try again for the reinstatement if you wish. In the meantime, please let go of the subject. It's not a question of free speech - you can post what you like on the forums but only up to a point. You crossed that point on the Leed's board and paid the price - don't cross it on this one because it won't be me that decides.

Leed's supporters and any other club's for that matter can come on here and are more than welcome. If you want to give them a hard time then that's up to you, but find someting acceptable to say because what you are saying isn't.

Now please let's get back to the football and the subject of this thread.

After the way they've played this season, you'd imagine both WBA and Brentford taking 3rd spot would be dissappointed and a bit demoralised. Fulham on the other hand would see 3rd as momentum and might get a boost from it.

No easy options, but should we be fortunate to get 6th spot (or even 5th :emoticon-0105-wink:), who would you prefer to face at home in the first round?

EDIT - or am I tempting fate? :emoticon-0141-whew:

To quote someone "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn!" (as to who, thatis!!!)

Deffo tempting fate but IF we hang on to 6th spot then I'd happily see Brentford overtake WBA to clinch 2nd and us play WBA over 2 legs...

Just feel Brentford and sadly Fulham would have too much for us over 2 legs.

A one off in a final (if we are fortunate enough to get there) is a different matter though.

Just need to secure this point (at least) on Wednesday night... which also just happens to be my birthday too, so they'd best not fudge it up and ruin my day!!!

Happy birthday for Sunday Dai. I'm a sprightly 49 on Wednesday though feel more like 89 some mornings!

Have another City supporting mate who's birthday is Saturday (60th) too.

1 measly point isn't too much to ask for between us all is it?
C'mon Neil Harris, get the boys fired up to give us all the birthdays we deserve...

<cheers>:emoticon-0166-cake:
