You are home and dry and deserve it - WBA probably do too but they can be vulnerable when pressed.

If West Brom fail to beat Fulham, I can see 6th place (us?) playing them in the playoffs - Brentford are that good and their goal difference is worth a point.

Thanks for that.

WBA should do it but I’d hate to be in their shoes - one slip and.......

my hairdresser is a Brentford fan so I was getting worried I might have to look for a new one - couldn’t have taken sitting there for 40 minutes while he went on about how they beat us to the wire.

Getting that 6th spot is the now obvious target. When we beat you and then Preston away two weeks back, then Bristol City at their place, a lot of us were thinking that we could catch Forest and even Fulham. Then the reality of this division struck home and we lost 2 on the bounce to Blackburn and Fulham.

Having said that, the playoffs are notorious for shock results. On current form you'd expect Brentford and Fulham to contest the final, but if we get a chance I can assure you we'd be in it to win it, not just make up the numbers.

Had a chunky bet on the draw today at 16/5...wanted some recompense financially if we didn't get the 3 points.

Cashed out after 85 mins so happy days all round.

Hopefully you can beat Derby or take a point at worst.

Last 2 fixtures looking favourable but always better if you have a bit of wiggle room.

Look pal (can I call you that after all this time), I might be a bit old fashioned here, but "hairdresser" and "40 minutes"?????

I'd have said barber and about 10 minutes tops - unless of course you're getting your roots done or of the fairer sex - (or both) <yikes>

Never mind, we're all equal on the forum even if vanity gets the better of some of us.........<laugh>

i thought someone would bite.

I live in the south, 40 minutes is short. When you have to have an attractive young lady ask To take your coat, offer you a skinny white chocolate Mocha, sit down in a special area to discuss with your stylist His plans for your coiffure, then have another attractive young lady wash your hair and if you’re lucky apply a quick Indian head massage, before scissors touch your locks..... I suggest an hour is more realistic.

You do know we have Sassoon's in Leeds where they will give you a short back and sides and relieve you of £100.

Or you can pop down Winston's in South Leeds and give them £100 to relieve you.

We are grateful (nay, even honoured) to have your contributions on this Top 6 thread of ours. Now that you are virtually assured of top flight football yourselves next season, we would be delighted for you to continue on here for the next few games.

If we are fortunate to make the "Top 6" then we trust we can count on your continued contributions and support for the final thrash out. We will need your good wishes as we are generally not to good at this playoff thingy.

Having got up on the last wo occasions automatically as Champions under Malky Mackay and runners up under Colin, we would now need a monster effort to get over the line by this method.

I would so like this conversation to continue into the new season with us both in the Premier like so we can meet and thrash your arses once again. <ok>

We can dream. On Friday got to wash my own hair before visiting my male hairdresser of 35 years and probably pay £2 more for the privilege. In fairness still worth the money for him to deal with the Afro I never knew I had.
 
Not going to trouble the top 6, but Wigan making a fist of staying up.
Either that, or their players putting themselves in the shop window.
