Apparently they want a larger share of the TV pot next time.... http://www.themag.co.uk/2017/09/dis...are-premier-league-tv-money-newcastle-united/
I know folk who have meltdowns when they have their posts changed by mods I remember when I was a mod I got a warning about such behaviour. We need a clean slate, sack the board sack the board sack the board
Silly notion this. The allure of the premier league is it's relative parity compared to the others. Late in the season, relegation 6 pointers are among the most compelling matches. In prior seasons, NBC limited access to internet streams to those who had cable/dish subscriptions. Now about 40% of the games can be viewed online w/o a tv subscription for $40. This pool of games usually doesn't feature a pair of big six teams.
This should only happen if Newcastle United finish in the top 6. We never will so it's a non-starter for me.
