The bottom is as tight as I can remember it tbh and there was some interesting business done yesterday. Pardew could have pulled off a master stroke with Sturridge, or he could have just signed a crock.....Swansea’s luck will finally run out and Huddersfield look lost at sea at the minute.

Hmmm RS aren't a team ffs <doh>

well from yesterdays performance, he's a dud. He hasn't got his pace which he used to and he faffed a 1 on 1 which turned into a rebound for an open goal and missed that too

This may become a lot clearer after Spurs next 2 games ... and also allowing for the fact that we will almost certainly beat them at Wembley <whistle>

Not going to lie Southampton are ****e, as are Brighton, and any normal year id say you both where certainties to go down, but there is so much ****e down there that I could see either or both avoiding the drop.

I think once Charlie Austin is back Southampton will convert more chances. Shane Long for all his hard work, is just awful at putting the ball in the net.

Brighton aren't great, but Glen Murray has got a few so far, and they have just signed a new striker from Holland, so I think they might just by the skin of their teeth survive.

Newcastle and Huddersfield are just as ****e, both are championship sides on paper, and both struggle to score goals. Newcatle especially have literally done nothing in the transfer market.

Swansea I think will have enough, they seem to have got a boost from the new manager now, and they look a team on the up.

Stoke I think will be fine too, it may not be pretty, but I think Paul Lambert will make them tough to beat, and they do have abit of quality in Shakiri going forward.

And then we move onto WBA, I did fancy their chances, as they have been looking like a side who'd gained abit of confidence, and then they went and ruined it all by signing Daniel Sturridge, a shocking striker these days, who's lost his only weapon his pace. So if they are pinning their hopes on him I'd be very worried, as they too can't score goals.

In terms of quality throughout the PL, I think this has been one of the worst seasons ever, there is just so much complete dross down the bottom, who can't score goals. There have been so many boring low scoring games.

You're forgetting that we have the worst and most inept manager in the league.

The one thing Saints have in their favour is a far superior goal difference. Could be crucial come season end!

Top 6 - City and the other 5 - could be almost any order atm.

Bottom 3

Stoke
Huddersfield
WBA

Whilst I agree it could come down to that it's probably evened out by the fact that of the 13 remaining we only have 5 at home... 3 of which are against the top 6.

I just don't see where the points are coming from and we seem incapable of winning must win games like last night for example.

West Brom away on Saturday...

What's the new striker like?
