He sounds like a Neverton fan. Liverpool haven't recognised Neverton as a rival since 1989.

Try actually arguing against the point not inventing one to argue with.

I never said Chelsea or City were bigger or had more global support than Liverpool or United, I objected to some tool saying City and Chelsea are 'small' clubs which they are not. There are more than 2 'big' clubs in this country.

As for Torres and winning medals, Suarez has already conceded you can't challenge for the title 7 games in so I'd pipe down on that front.

As for big teams, they tend to win their domestic league every now and then, you haven't even won one this millenium.

Chelsea will never be on Liverpools level. Liverpool around the world are Liverpool.....Chelsea around the world are a small club in Fulham.

I think Chelsea are certainly a powerhouse of football alongside some of the top teams in this league, but Liverpool and Man Utd have had decades upon decades to grow their global fanbase with a hefty chunk of title wins between them, so no one (not even Chelsea fans) can honestly expect to have the same sort of size at this stage.

Liverpool are still dining out on past glories, football has moved on and frankly you just aren't that relevant anymore highlighted by the fact your best player handed in a transfer request so he could join us in January.

We attract world cup and champions league winners where as your last 2 managers have been a has been from the board room and Roy from Fulham.

The likes of United, Chelsea, Barca, Real Madrid, Bayern etc are the present.

We are Champions League winners ya tosser and Kenny has 3 European club champions winners medals from his playing days.

The Russian gangsters patience is running out due to Chelsea's crap record in the Champions League and when his dough stops funding Chelsea they'll slip back into obscurity.

    Again, living on past glories...

Despite Chelsea's crap record in the C.L as you put it, we are still 3rd in Eufa's club rankings table. You're 9th.

Since Jan we've bought in Torres, Luiz, Mata and Lukaku. Imagine if Roman starts to get interested again...!! You're a fool of the highest order.

I think there's a difference between being a "superpower" and a "big club".

It doesn't matter how small or unsuccessful a club's history is, and it doesn't matter how large their global fanbase are. If a club has the ability to spend millions upon millions (due to a very wealthy owner) then it can be a major, major force on the European stage. It's as simple as that.

Look at Newcastle, for example. Do I think we're a very big club? Yes. Do I think we're a footballing superpower? Not anymore, no. We simply don't have the financial might these days.

Oh dear,Still 9th after almost going out of business and or a points reduction or relegation, after a court battle to rid our club of the Lone Ranger and Tonto and having Hodgson bestowed upon us.

Since january you've bought 3 players off us that have never won a CL.

    PS.

2 CL finals in the last 6 years winning one, living in the past?.

Your living in cloud cuckoo land kidda.

Most clubs would'nt have survived what we've been through these last few years, but being a big club saw us through in the end.

    Good points.

However even the likes of Liverpool gained success through investment so just because they did it before the Chelseas and Citys of this world doesn't give them the right to preach especially when they spent the last few years whoring themselves round the globe for investors.

The Toon are a massive club thats been massively mismanaged from the boardroom for decades, the potential has always been there along with your fantastic support but you just cant seem to put all the ingredients together at once to bring the club success.

How many league titles in the last 6 years? How many in the last 10? last 20?

How many will United be on before you finally win one again Mr 'Big' Club. 20?... 25?.... more???

Big clubs sustain success. A lucky pen shoot out aside what would this big club have to show for the last 10 years?

Your very bitter, are you sure your not an Evertonian?

"Big clubs sustain success",are you daft enough to say Man Utd were'nt a big club for 26 years until Fergie won his first?

We've won plenty of silverware since our last title.
