    Pere Ubo good band although one i've neglected in recent years will have to dig out my cd's. Brian Eno seems to be a forgotten man these days. Most people probably only know him from Bauhaus' cover of Third Uncle (which i did quite like i must admit).

    How about a bit of Mclusky? Got to link this video in because it is so crap it becomes good by default. Seriously though Mclusky Do Dallas is one of my favourite albums of the last ten years :)

    Here's link t youtube as the video doesn't seem to work!

    yeah that song does sound a bit like magazine but it was their only single that i'm aware of. Their usual stuff is really off the wall. This is a better example;

    Can't really put an exact order to them, but the best are all here...

    Muse, Depeche Mode, Foo Fighters, Manic Street Preachers and erm, Robbie Williams! <laugh>... but it's true though.

    Used to listen to butthole surfers but hadn't heard punishment of luxury. However, just listened to "the message" and "funk me" on youtube and they are really good, will have to have to listen to some more :)

    Cheers for that! Will have a listen. Tell you what, if you like off the wall give these guys a listen they are so different. Sometimes too much; they use cement mixers, drills, food blenders, bells, whistles all the malarky. But sometimes they just do something fairly mainstream and it can be brilliant. Take this one as an example, brilliant music so long as you like the less is more school of music. Einsturzende Neubauten "Blume"

    Another awesome band, you can rock out to AC/DC all day long, they bring out the child in you that just wants jump up and down (like Angus Young) no matter how old you are.
